AJ and Her Trainer

In 5...4...3...2...

AJ POV

He was my trainer. I was his student.

The bond between this relationship is one based on respect and trust. But in my case, it's much more. I love my trainer. His hair, his body, his bread; I just love him. We spend hours bettering ourselves in the gym but I could never telling how I feel. During the training sessions he would always tell me to force on my cardio, so I would jump rope and run on the treadmill.

After three months, he wanted to see how my training was coming along.

"Alright AJ, this may be a just training but I want you to give it your all."

"Okay, Daniel." I took a deep breath and the fight began.

Kicks and punches were thrown for hours until Daniel called a timeout. I was panting and sweating as I sat in the corner.

"What are you doing AJ?"

"Taking(pant) a break(pant)"

"You can't that a break yet. There's still one thing I need to know."

"What?" He leans over and gets in my face.

"Your cardio." I could barely hear him. He was so close that I peered into his blue eyes. Somehow, I managed to leave the ring and stand on my own feet. Daniel stood at the opposite side of the gym with a stopwatch.

"Now, when I say run, run as fast as you can to me." I could only nod at his words as I tried to catch my breath. He soon signaled me to go and I sprinted as fast as I could. It was only now that I realized that I've truly noticed how fast I'd became. All that cardio training has been doing wonders. I was almost where Daniel was until I tripped over my feet. Right before I hit the ground I felt something grab me. No, grab isn't the right word; something was holding me.

I looked up to his eyes; damn those perfect blue orb. But the way Daniel was holding me, it made me feel special. I couldn't hold back anymore; I needed to tell him and now was the perfect time.

"Bryan."

"Yea, AJ"

"I-I-I," I tried to tell him but the words couldn't come out. I began to tear up but I soon stopped with I felt something on my lips. I opened my eyes to see Daniel kissing me. My mind raced with a thousand thoughts

After a minute, Daniel pulled away. I was left with an immense warmth around my cheeks. Daniel smiled and whispered in my ear,

"I love you too AJ."
