*Joes POV* I lay in bed, thinking about Colby. Everything about him I loved. He was a funny, kind hearted, fun loving man who's a little kid at heart. Joe held a ring in his hand that once symbolized their marriage. He felt tears coming. "I'm not gonna cry", Joe had to convince himself. He turned on his back and layed there. He closed his eyes to sleep and was alerted by a sharp pain on the right side below his bellybutton. "It can't be my appendix, I had that out when I was with Jeremiah." Joe continued to try to sleep. An hour later, the pain got so bad he groaned and let out a few tears as he reached for the phone.
*Colbys POV* I just got in from walking the dogs when I heard the text tone of "Sing With Me. Sing for the years. Sing for the laughter and sing for the tears. Sing with me if it's just for today. Maybe tomorrow the good lord will take you away" Joe! When I read the text, I grabbed my keys and ran out the door. When I got to Joe's street, I saw flashing lights. Shit! I pulled into the driveway and ran outside to see him being loaded into an ambulance. I wanted to lose it right then and there but didn't wanna scare Joe. I talked to the EMT who was a wrestler in my friends company. I slid beside the stretcher and watched as Jason (my good friend) talked to Joe on the other side. *Joes POV* Colby! Joe said excitedly. He had missed him loads. Tears started streaming down his face, not knowing if from pain, or excitement. "I'm so happy you're here!" Joe admitted. "Yes, I'm happy to be here too but not under the best circumstances, but that doesn't make seeing you any less special. I'll stay by your side and I promise I won't leave your side." Joe smiled. They reached the hospital and Joe was brought to the E.R. section. Ultrasound, CT, and Bloodwork were essential things that got done but took a little while. Joe was getting ancy because he wanted to know what was wrong and how to fix it. "Calm down Joe." Colby said calmly. Dr. Jayfield & His assistant Dr. Mizanin knocked on the door.
