A/N hey this is a little drabble that I thought of while browsing the warriors fics. From what we know of Bloodclan from Barley (for those of you who've read Secrets of the Clans) we know it's ruthless and cruel and values strength so I just thought of this and thought you might like it.
Alright now… DISCLAIMER! I so wish I did own Warriors but I cannot claim that and all structure and clan names are given to Erin Hunter.
In Bloodclan, everything is vicious.
When I was a kit my mother was put to death for sheltering me and my two brothers. The three of us were forced to watch as her blood leaked into the ground and her eyes became sightless. At the time I thought they were torturing us for obeying our mother but now I realize it is just their twisted way to be sure we followed their rules.
We grew up. Ice became deranged over mother's death and never really got over it- to this day he remains insane and unstable. Rock on the other hand just left; I haven't heard from him since he was old enough to escape this prison called a clan. I myself remained, maybe it was a sick sense of loyalty, maybe I just had no choice.
"Frost- Scourge will see you." The deep voice of Bone, the deputy of Bloodclan made me look up. Wearily I dipped my head and padded past him. As I came closer to our leader I caught my reflection in one of the pools of rain water in the asphalt.
I am small, a white she cat with amber eyes and too many scars to count. I spent a few moons as a kitty-pet before I escaped and the collar has become worn. I stopped when I saw Scourge turn to face me.
"Frost… Of course. You are one of the kits that Jay was hiding aren't you?" he didn't give me a chance to answer but I wouldn't have said anything if he had. "And you want to become one of my elite?" he scoffed. "Are you strong enough?" my dogtooth-studded claws slid out in answer and he let out an amused snort. "Very well then. Jagged!"
A large black tom stepped into the asphalt clearing and I saw him eye me. "Fight."
I crouched down defensively, ready to spring. The only way to avenge what happened to my family is to get stronger.
The only way to get stronger is to win.
I yelled out my challenge as I met Jagged's claws with my own and we fought a shamefull battle for power and status. We knew that no matter what, one of us would end up dead.
