Sorry if this is too short or bad, I wanted to finish episode 1 fast so that we could get to the Jurassic Realm faster. NOTE: Guess what Jess's name is a play on? {I want to see if anyone can figure it out, if you think you know please leave a note of it in the comments!}
"So then I was looking at my T. Rex model, and I thought, wow, that might look cool life-sized," Jessie told Skylor as they walked. "As it turns out, though, too big."
"Wow, really?" Skylor kept such as straight face that Jessie had to giggle. "Oh! Here we are!"
They stopped as the Temple of Airjitzu rose out of the ground before them, a few tourists milling around and taking photos.
Jessie's mouth dropped open, and she tucked a strand of her dark-brown hair over her shoulder. "Just… Just…" She hugged her friend. "OHMYGOSH this is perfect! It's gonna be so much easier to not hurt anyone with my powers here… especially if things go bad… like last time." She winced, composing herself.
Careful, Jess! You almost jumped. And things tend to go wrong when you jump.
Skylor smiled. "No problem. The ninja will be glad to have you."
This time she had to fight to keep herself in control. "WHAT?! They're HERE?!"
It wasn't that Jess meant to hurt anyone with her powers, but it just happened. If her emotions got out of control, especially hurt, fear, or anger, it could happen before she knew it. A trip into another realm with a few innocent civilians, which she could barely get back in one piece (if at all), or by herself, but carrying out prehistoric creatures as she left.
Jess winced again. I should be fine. That hasn't happened for a while. Faking a smile as she bit down her emotions, Jessie followed Skylor inside of the temple.
Little did she know, the past was about to catch up to her. And not her own. Because unbeknownst to her, Jessica Parker was going back to the realm where not only did the dinosaurs survive, they thrived.
