''Lily! I'm sorry OK? I didn't mean to call you that! It just well, slipped out.'' A 15 year old Severus Snape explained pleadingly to Lily Evans. ''Severus. I know that it just slipped out, but do you know how much it hurt. You were my best friend, and it really hurt when you called me a mudblood. I'm sorry, but I can't forgive you.'' Lily answered. Severus fell to his knees as Lily went back inside the Gryffindor Common Room. ''I'm sorry..'' he whispered as the portrait sealed itself shut again, one of the many obsticales that blocked him and Lily.

It was around 1p.m. at Hogwarts when a soft sob came from the Slytherin Boys Dorm. , Severus had a scrapbook of him and Lily growing up together from children to the age of 15, when he had made that stupid, STUPID mistake of calling Lily a mudblood , and from then on Lily had hated him. He only said that because he had heard it so much and it ust slipped out. Severus let out another sob, and knew that Lily would never be his.

Made me promise I'd try,
To find my way back in this life.

Severus had spotted Lily coming out of the library alone, late at night. I will try and sort this out even if it has been a year. I just want her back, Snape thought. He ran up to Lily and smiledslightly. Lily just scowled at him. ''Lily, I really am sorry for what I did last year. I never meant it. I just really want you back! We were best friends and I know that I really hurt you, but I am still so sorry.'' Snape said. Lily just looked at him blankly, then....SLAP! The sound of Lily's hand hitting Severus's cheek echoed through the hall. Lily stalked of, leaving Snape of the floor.

Severus looked out of the Astronamy Tower to see Lily kissing James Potter. Rage boild up inside him like a rocket, shooting upwards, making him feel sick. Severus never really hated James but now he loathed him. He doesn't deserve her, he thought. He chucked his spellbook out the window hopingthat it would hit James on the head. And with that, he stormed out of the Tower and ran to the Room Of Requirment.

Severus ran towards the Potters house only to find that it was in ruins. He ran past James who was lying face down on the floor in an awkward position. He sprinted up the stairs and ran to the place where Lily lain. He dropped to his knees and took hold of herhand. ''No! Lily, come on stay with me ! Please! I love you!'' Severus shouted. Lily's eyes fluttered open and she weakly said '' I love you too Sev. Your like the brother I never had!'' before she collapsed.

Severus laid on the floor and just layed there for a while before Nagnini came along and bit him in the neck. He screamed in terror and in pain. Harry came out from under the invisibility cloak and dashed over to him. ''Look at me.''He chocked out. Green eyes met black and the last thing Severus wanted to see, were Lily Evans's emerald green eyes before he died, and he knew that he would always love her.
