Shoot me now. This is a shame upon my writing because it's so short.. and horribly planned. It was more of an impulse creation more than anything after listening to some Nightwish and in an Inuyasha mood... :emo:
Summary: Kikyo and Sesshomaru lived in a requiem before they acheived an ever dream.

Requiem of the Ever Dream
Let me fade away with you, till I can cry alone.
The bucolic setting never stirred at the sudden apparition of a white ghost, they have never halted a passing nor would they aid it…. How could they save one who could not depart this life towards the hereafter?
The flowers would weep every morning; the rain would wash away at the scorched marks upon her skin. Would it ever be enough?
Black hair coiled across the dead leaves, howling upon her departed stroke; such a dead passing of time has become forgotten within the snowfall. Unable to move, care or live… she lived her own death with the fleeting of time.
"So long you've sat there, pathetic."
A voice roughly muttered harshly at the undead miko. For the first time in many moons, the priestess opened her eyes, dare they weep before the blood relative of her beloved. Holding the tree for support, Kikyo watched the full demon stare down at her disgustedly upon her broken form.
Kikyo was a fragile bellflower crushed into a china doll, waiting to be held within warmth once more.
Forever waiting.
"Am I truly this disgusting to you?"
The question seemed fitting of the cold cutting tone of the miko. Unmoved, the demon lord smirked with a mocking enjoyment of a victory silently he held. Speaking without remorse he stood before her shamelessly.
"You have always been disgusting. Yet, perfect enough for him."
"I have loved!"
"What?"
The retort seemed to cut off his statement as the miko glared darkly at him. Sesshomaru was thrown into a small shock at her sudden interjection. His question seemed to bring a heavy strength within her clay limbs.
"I have been human, I have been a saint so please do not use such remarks to myself. From hell and back I went, just for him… for him alone."
Sesshomaru sucked in a harsh breath as he brutally muttered a name.
"Inuyasha."
A cold chuckle escaped the dead lips of the priestess as her vigor faded and she cascaded to the bottom with a harsh thud upon the unsympathetic snow. Softly, almost a whisper, she muttered a reply to his former question.
"You and I were the same, we were both lost with a requiem of duty but… I've turned mine into an ever dream."
Turning to the elder demon without much pain within her soul, she closed the dark eyes slowly with a final question to him.
"Why do you run from your ever dream and linger with a requiem of sorrow?"
The snow slowly encased their silence into a small candle of hidden memories.

"Sesshomaru-sama!"
Rin cried happily swinging her arms from around Jaken without a second hesitation. A single thought ran through the demon lord's mind as he stared down at the enthusiastic child before him.
Is this my ever dream?
Kikyo watched on smiling softly, with her bow at hand and her hair tied back traditionally she felt new once more.
One way or another, they had helped each other in a short confrontation where silently their passions ignited once more.
