Small Goku in ORC

(Dragon Ball Z/GT/Super x High School DxD New/Born/Hero)

Summary:

Three months has past since Chi-Chi died from a heart virus. Since then, Goku was left alone and fell into a despair state. After deciding to train as to forget the painful memories, he found himself face-to-face with a portal that lead to a different dimension. While getting close to it, the portal opened wider and sucked him right in it.

Author's Note: This story takes place by the end of DBZ and the beginning of High School DxD.

Prologue:

"Dragon and Dimension"

It has been three months since Chi-Chi died.

Near the Mountain Paozu, inside of the Son Residence, a 50-year old Goku was in the living room, sitting on a couch while thinking on what to do to cheer himself up from Chi-Chi's death. He was alone. Goten had moved at Gohan and Videl's house since his school is close there as well as Trunks' house. After the terrible event of Chi-Chi's death, Goku wasn't exactly the same anymore. Goku, the bright, cheerful and carefree guy doesn't often have smiles or grins on his face. It was really unsettling and uncomfortable seeing him like this. Even his friends and family were sad seeing him in this devastated state.

He was thinking for almost 30 minutes before he decided to speak, "What should I do?" He asked himself before an idea pop into his mind as an imaginary bulb appeared beside his head. "I know! I should just train! Maybe, that'll help me cheer up."

Goku walked back towards his room, taking out a fresh new Gi similar to when he wore as a child (Adult GT Goku outfit). It was a Dogi with its shirt being blue and its pants being yellow. He tied a white sash around his waist tightly and put on a pair of pink wristbands and a pair of black boots with white stockings. All was set as he was ready to go and train.

"There!" He said, finishing wearing his Dogi by tightening up his sash. "Finish!" He exclaimed before another idea pop. "Oh, wait. I think I should take Nyoibo (Power Pole) with me. It's been a while since I used it."

As a finishing touch, he took the Nyoibo from his closet, still in its scabbard. Nyoibo was given by his grandfather, Son Gohan Sr. The last time he use Nyoibo was when he was a kid, which was a long time ago. He took it and swing it over his shoulder and used the string to support the Nyoibo. Smiling as he finishes up, Goku went outside but not before taking a glance at the picture of Chi-Chi and him when they were in their 20s.

"I'm going out." He said, sadly grin at the picture and closed the door.

He took a loud breathe in, smelling the fresh air of the forest near the Son Residence before letting it all out. He flared out his Ki and immediately soared through the skies. He looked for places calm and perfect for him to train for more than 10 minutes. After searching, he found the exact place he wanted. Smiling, he slowly descends down to his designated training spot.

"This is a pretty nice place to tra-" Goku stopped mid-sentence as something caught his sight. "Wait, what's that?"

Just a few meters away, there was strange hole with black and blue static, similar to a TV that lost its signal. He blinked a few times in confusion. He closed in the distance to clearly observe whatever this strange hole is. As he closes in, he can feel himself being tucked into it.

"Strange. Is it sucking me in?" He asked to particularly no one but himself.

In strong curiosity, Goku closes the distance between him and the hole as he felt the pressure of the tuck becoming more powerful. The hole was pulling him in for some reason. However, that wasn't able to faze him as he wasn't really being affected much by it. Right now, he was inches away from the hole. With furrowed eyebrows, Goku looks around the hole, trying to figure out what's it was and the cause of it.

"What is this?" He asked.

They say curiosity killed the cat, and in this case, Goku is the cat. Before he can question even further, he was caught off guard once the hole expands as the pull became far stronger. HIs eyes widened in shock as the hole got his legs. He tried to move, but the hole has already got him, It quickly sucked Goku in, causing him to panic. The hole already got his whole body except for his face. As a last resort, he tried to call someone for help.

"Wait! Ho-" He could not finish his words as the hole completely sucked him in and immediately closes...

West City, Capsule Corps

Vegeta, in his usual Saiyan armor he used to train, was currently sitting on a chair near the balcony. He was closing his eyes, trying to mediate and producing a virtual fight between him and Goku in his mind. That was until he noticed something enough for him to open his eyes back in concern and surprise.

'Where's that clown? He was just around Earth earlier...' The Prince of all Saiyans said in his mind as he felt Goku's Ki Signature vanished into thin air.

While Vegeta was in his thoughts, Bulma called, "Vegeta! Time for lunch!"

A tick mark appeared on his forehead, "Alright, woman!" He yelled back, annoyed that she interrupted his thoughts.

He just went into the dinner room, eating with his family.

Goku's disappearance did not go unnoticed by the Z-Fighters. After Vegeta noticed Goku's Ki Signature vanished, so does the other Protectors of Earth. They all contacted each other and decided to meet up at Kami's Lookout. After a few hours of preparing to meet up, they all gathered at their meeting spot. Once arrived, they all begin to check each other, trying to make sure that Goku is really gone.

Picollo, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chaotzu and Gohan started to discuss. Vegeta being Vegeta, did not want to come.

"Are you guys sure that Goku's gone?" Yamcha asked.

Krillin and Gohan nodded. "I called the Son Residence and no one picked up."

"Yes. I already gone to our house and Tou-san isn't there." Gohan followed.

"Where could Son be gone to...?" Picollo wondered.

"Kaio-sama!" Gohan yelled. "Is my father there with you?"

There was silence for a moment before King Kai replied, "I'm afraid not, Gohan."

"Where is he then?" Gohan asked.

"I...I don't know myself..." King Kai replied in a dejected tone.

"He has gone to a different universe it seems." The Elder Kai budged in.

"What do you mean, Dai Kaioshin-sama?" Gohan blinked in confusion. "Different universe?"

"I'm also wondering about that." Picollo said.

"It appears that a certain someone was meddling with great power and created a rift to a universe outside ours..." Elder Kai replied. "Listen here, Goku won't be back if he goes through that rift again. The chances of him going back with his powers are slim so all we have to do is wait for that someone to return him back."

Yamcha blinked, "Why don't we just use the Dragon Balls? I mean, I'm sure we can wish him back!"

Krillin's eyes widened in realization. "Oh, yeah! Now that you said it, why didn't we think of that earlier?"

"It's impossible." The Elder Kai replied, before Picollo followed.

"He's right." Picollo agreed.

"Eh? But why?" Krillin asked.

"Shenron's power isn't strong enough to get Goku from this 'different' universe." Picollo replied. "It is beyond his power."

Gohan looks at the sky with a concern expression on his face. "Wherever you are, Tou-san, I hope you're okay..."

The other Z-Fighters agreed and prayed for the Saiyan's safety...

Moments later,

Dimensional Gap

Goku opened his eyes only to be greeted with his sight being somewhat colorful and confusing. "W-Wha-!? What's going on!?" Goku said as he looks around panicking and confused. "Where am I!?"

He looks around and tries to figure out where he was. It was safe to say that he wasn't on Earth, or the Otherworld in that matter. As he looks around, his eyes caught a medium figure at a really far distance. He couldn't quite make it out and just waited quietly until what the thing was arrived. After a few minutes, the figure was revealed to be a really large red Dragon. Goku was surprised at the sight. The Dragon had red scales, green eyes and four wings on its back. Due to Goku's size, the Dragon didn't noticed him until he closed in their distances. The next thing surprised Goku again.

"Greetings." It spoke, making Goku's eyes to widened.

He never thought that there was another Dragon that can speak other than Shenron and Porunga. He regained his composure and greeted back.

"Hi, there!" Goku greeted back with a two-finger salute.

"Mind telling me your name? It's been a while since I ever met a visitor not of this world..." It said.

"Oh, my name's Son Goku. What's yours?" Goku introduced himself and asked.

"My name is Great Red, the Dragon of Dreams." It introduced himself which made Goku grin.

"Oh, Red, huh?" Goku said, thinking how the name fits its appearance. "You know where we're going?"

"You will soon come to a stop."

Goku tilted his head, "That so?"

After a few more minutes of waiting, a bright light appeared, queuing Goku's depart. Goku smiled but in reassurance, he turn towards Great Red.

"Hey, is that my 'stop' over there?" He asked, pointing his index finger towards the bright light.

"Yes." Great Red replied with a simple answer.

"Okay! Thanks for the help!" Goku thanked before slowly flying towards the bright light. "Bye, Great Red! It's nice knowing ya!" Goku waved and gave a Son grin towards Great Red before disappearing in the bright light.

"Until we meet again, Son Goku..."
