Bluestar speaks: Why I loved Oakheart
You may all think that if I hadn't loved Oakheart, than all this trouble wouldn't have happened and Mosskit never would have died. Well, I don't regret any of it.
Oakheart, with his special spark and his handsome tawny pelt and the blazing fire in his eyes, both warm and scorching, well I LOVED IT. I gave my kits away because of
Thistleclaw and the blood that lied in his path, not because I didn't love them and Oakheart. I loved them more than anything and I'm sure that Oakheart and Graypool took good care of
them and I was devastated when Tigerclaw told me Oakheart killed Redtail, my old deputy and then gloated about it. Stonefur became and died a brave and loyal deputy, Mistystar will
be a great and memorable leader and even though Mosskit died as just a young kit, she's happy with me in StarClan. Now, I have left Firestar to the duties of ThunderClan, but even
though he was a kittypet, I'm sure he'll lead it to be the greatest Clan the forest and lake have ever known. When I sit with Oakheart in StarClan, when I share
tongues with him, when he licks me with his rough tongue, when he tells me he loves me and will love me forever, I will never regret my choice.
