Author Note: I decided to do this storyline for my first movie storyline for "Hunger games". I hope that you enjoy it. This what is could be in his head before and during both games.

Petea's POV

I knew the minute that my name was called that it was bad but hers. I was already wanting to protect the minute that I saw her after her father had died. I did not want her to go through that pain again. I did not hear Gale come into the room.

"Hey we need to talk." Gale told me.

"What about?" I asked him.

"How are you going to protect her and make sure that she comes back? Her family needs her to come home." Gale told me.

"Don't tell me that just her family needs her. What about my family?" I asked him. I knew that I was going to protect her at any chance I could.

During the games, I kept trying to make sure that she was okay. She was the only thing that matter to me to make sure that she was okay. The birds really torture her and I knew that there was nothing that I could do to stop her from going to check on her sister the minute that she heard the birds. The minute that the wall dropped, I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I love you." Katniss said to me.

"I love you too." I responded to her. I hope that this was going to beginning of our future.

After the games, I woke up wanting to find Katniss and making sure that she was okay. I found myself chain to a wall.

"Let me go!" I yelled at the person.

"I'm sorry. I can't do it until we find out what is going on with the rebels." Snow revealed as he showed his face. "Oh by the way, Katniss is dead along with everyone from district 12."

"No you are wrong. She's alive and I am going to find her when I get out of here." Pete promised him. "I am not helping you after you killed my family."
