When he enters her apartment (because, naturally, he has a key) he closes the door as gently as possible.
She can feel the vibrations.
When he silently slips off his heavy boots and pads across the floor to stand behind her, it's with the stealth of a master hunter (which he is).
She can feel the air stir around them.
When he suddenly wraps his strong arms around her waist, a sigh of contentment passes her lips (though she firmly asserts it's merely one of weariness).
She can finally feel safe with him home.
