A woman sighed as she looked over a list of things to accomplish on her desk. 'It seems I have accomplished everything I sought out to do. What do I do now?' She thinks as she puts down her pencil. Standing up, she goes to her bathroom and looks at herself in the mirror, she sighs. 'For now, I will just go get something to eat at Ichiraku's,' She thought and went to the front door.

She slipped on her black combat boots and made sure her weapons weren't showing before she slipped out of her house and out onto the busy sidewalk. She could of easily just drove there but she didn't want to. After she makes it to her destination, she gets a miso ramen to go and sets off for home. 'Now that, that's done, I-' Her thoughts were interrupted by screaming. She looks to where it was and her eyes widen.

A child no more than 8 was in the middle of the road chasing after a ball. There was a car heading towards the child at a very fast speed. Moving on pure instincts, she drops everything in her arms and raced towards the child that now stands frozen in place and staring wide-eyed at the car. She quickly pushes the child out of the way, sadly she was too slow to get herself out of the way. A searing pain shoots up through her body and she lets out a cry of pain.

She felt her body tumble back before she could feel her body start to go numb and her vision starts to fade. She could see sirens out of the corner of her eye. The crowd started to back up, along with the parents, the small child in her Mother's arms. Feeling her vision failing her, she lets out a sigh. Darkness surrounds her quickly but before it consumes her all the way, the little girl that she had saved smiles and then everything just disappeared.

•••

A tall figure looks at the scene below. The figure lets out a long sigh before getting up and taking one last look at the scene before disappearing into thin air. It appears in a pitch black void and sees the body of the girl a few feet away from its body. It crouches down and lets out a huff, its breath fanning over her still form before she starts to open her eyes. The figure moves back and sits down and waits, forgetting that she dislikes darkness.

Her eyes fluttered open and the first thing she saw was darkness. She sits up quickly with eyes wide, fear present in them. She never liked dark places, not since That incident. She looks around herself in fear and her eyes stop on a huge wolf. She gasps and moves back slightly. 'What was going on?!'

The wolf freezes at seeing the fear being directed at its self before it speaks. "Do not worry my Little Ko, I am not here to hurt you. I am here to ask you about something," The wolf said, its, her, voice soft and smooth but very loud. The wolf laid down and looked at the women still sitting dumbfounded on the ground. She holds in a chuckle and with a flick of her long tail, the scene around them changed.

They were now in a field of flowers and the sun was high above them, shining brightly. The woman looks around her in disbelief. "So beautiful…" She murmurs, her voice was soft and low pitched. The wolf lets out a huff of air again to get the woman's attention. Said woman looks back at her and her eyes widen more, the wolf was beautiful.

The wolfs fur was of a dark blue with light blue undertones. She also had wings and at the tips of each feather, it turned from dark purple to dark red. She looked like she had a mane like a lion and her eyes were a forest green. The woman stares up at the wolf in awe and fear. The wolf smiles and pushes her muzzle against the woman, making her fall into a sitting position. "Sit Ko, this might take awhile."

The woman nods and gets more comfortable in her sitting position before she stares uncertainly up at the wolf. She had decided to not speak until she heard the wolf out. The wolf smiles again before she herself gets more comfortable in her laying position. She looks back at the woman sitting before her.

"My name is Kichōna Mono and I am the Wolf Goddess of the Okami Realm. I have been watching you, young Ko and I have decided to grant you the opportunity that not very many get. Choose what you want wisely as I will only ask this of you once young Ko." The wolf said, now named Mono.

The woman frowns. "Why choose me? I am nothing special…" She asks as she looks down at her hands. Mono narrows her eyes. "Nonsense young Ko, you are very special. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, you hear me?" The woman looks up at her with wide eyes before she looks away shyly and nods. "So… anything I want?" She asks, looking back at the huge wolf. Said wolf just nods but remains silent.

The woman thinks for a few moments before an idea struck her. She looks up at the Goddess shyly. "Um… may you help me find where I belong? I know this may sound weird and all but I've always felt like I never belonged where I was before…" The woman asks and looks at the wolf with pleading eyes. The wolfs eyes widen at what she heard before she smiles again and bumps her nose with the woman's body, being careful so that the woman doesn't fall over. "Of course young Ko. Just close your eyes and I will explain everything when you open your eyes."

The woman was a bit confused at what the last part meant but did as told. She suddenly started to feel very tired and she fell forward. Something warm and fluffy wrapped around her small frame, stopping her fall. The last thing she heard was Mono's soothing voice before she fell into a deep sleep.

"When you awaken young Ko, things will never be as they once were. I hope you will be ready for your fate my young Ko. I'm sorry…"

•••

Darkness was all she saw, she didn't know where she was. She was scared. She hated darkness. She curled in on herself and tries to hold back the cries.

Ko

She sniffles and shivers in fear.

Ko!

Her head goes up and she looks around her. There was no one.

"Little Ko! Wake up!"

She shoots up from her bed and breaths hard. She looks around her and sees that she's in a room. "Wh-where…" Her eyes widen and she quickly looks down at her body. She puts her hands on her chest, feeling it flat before she attentively lifts up her pants. She freezes.

"Ko?" A soft feminine voice voiced out in a silent question. A muzzle nudges the frozen boy in bed. He looks up at the wolf. "Mono…. Why am I a male?" He asks, his voice soft and deep-dish. Mono moves and sits in front of the newly made male. She starts to explain.

"Because your heart told me you were and before you ask questions, let me explain. I searched your heart when you fell asleep and changed what needed to be changed. You see… you were born in the wrong body, all I did was change that and a few other things." Mono explains, holding back a laugh. The male frowns and looks down at his body. Some of his hair slips over his shoulders and he grasps it. It was a crimson red. His eyes widen. He gets up off the bed and looks around for the bathroom. Mono follows with amusement.

Finally finding a bathroom, the male looks at himself in the mirror. He was on the short side and his skin was pale, it had a pink tint to it as well. His hair was a crimson red and came to his knees. He also had side bangs that stopped mid-chest. His eyes were of a blue and gold swirl and his face was feminine. Actually, his whole body was feminine now that he looked at it. He also wore big rimmed glasses that were in a square shape. What was interesting though, was the wolf ears and tail the same crimson red as his hair. His eyes widen and he looks at Mono before just now realized that Mono was the size of a wolf instead of a giant. He smiles at that.

Mono's ear twitches and she lets out a small puff. "Oh shush it…" After saying that, the male just lets out a chuckle before he stops and looks back at Mono. "So, what else do I have to know?" Mono looks at the male with an unreadable expression. 'He's taking this fairly well…'

Mono sits down. "Well, I went through your mind as well and found some things that you wanted. I added them to you as well. The first one is wolf ears and tail. As you can see, they are there. If you want to hide them then just picture it in your mind that they disappear and it's the opposite if you want them out." Mono said and the male looks at himself in the mirror. He closes his eyes and pictures them disappearing in a gust of wind. When he opens his eyes again, they were gone. He grins.

Mono grins. "Now on with the second thing. Even if you are a male, you can still bear pups or what humans call them, children." His eyes widen and his hand goes to his stomach. He opens his mouth to ask who but closes it a second after, deciding to just go with it as he honestly wasn't sure he wanted to know what she did to his body. Mono snorts. "I also got you a new name to go by. From now on, you will be called Jikan o Kizande."

The male, now called Jikan, nods. "Twinkle in Time? I like that name. It fits this situation." Jikan said and lets out at a small laugh. "By the way… where are we?" He asks and Mono answers. "Well, do you remember those anime shows you used to watch," At seeing Jikan nod, Mono continues. "Well, I chose three out of all the anime you watched. Right now, you are in that Ouran one." Jikan's eyes widen. "I'm in Ouran High School Host Club?!" He said, his voice rising.

Mono growls. "Keep your voice down young Ko, others could hear and yes, you are in it. I made it to where you're an honor student like Haruhi is and that you live next to her. School starts in a week and a half so you have time to get situated. There's enough money to keep you afloat until you leave this world for the next."

Jikan looks at Mono in confusion. "Leave this world for the next? You mean dying right?" He asks and Mono shakes her head. "No Ko, I mean traveling to a different world. That locket around your neck is a timer. When it hits zero, it's time to leave to go someplace different. If you remember, your wish was to find a place that you belong. I am showing you three worlds that you took a liking to and you have to choose if you have that connection with them." Mono explained. Jikan looks down at himself and sees the locket Mono was talking about. It was pure gold and its chain was gold as well. He picks it up and opens it. His eyes widen. Inside it had a number of days and how much time he has before he leaves. "I have a year…"

Mono nods. "Yes. After you have seen all three worlds, you choose which one you want to go back to." Jikan furrows his eyebrows. "And what about time after you leave the world? Will it keep moving?" He asks and Mono nods. "I'm afraid so." Jikan just sighs and walks out of the bathroom, he heads towards the kitchen. "What if I want to stay in a world without finishing the others?" He asks as he walks into the kitchen. He goes over to the fridge and opens it, finding it empty he stands back up and sighs again before freezing. Mono spoke.

"You can't stay. You have to finish looking at the others as sad as it is. There is a way to stay but…. It is not a safe way." Mono said and sat down in the doorway. Jikan frowns and looks at Mono before he walks out of the kitchen and into the living room. His realizes his apartment room was just like Haruhi's, just with boxes everywhere. 'I'll unpack later…' He thought and saw a box of money on the table. He grabs a wad before looking down at what he was wearing.

He had on a black hoodie that stopped mid-thigh and a pair of dark gray sweatpants on along with black combat boots. He pushes up his glasses and, at finding a hair tie around his wrist, he pulls his hair up into a ponytail, leaving out the side bangs. He lets his face relax and puts on his poker face before looking around the room, searching for Mono. He doesn't see her and was about to call out to her but her voice interrupts him.

"Don't worry young Ko, I'm just resting in your mind. This is where I will usually stay unless I want to come out." Mono said, her voice echoing in his head. He smiles a soft smile before straightening his face again. He walks to his front door and opens it. Walking out, he looks around himself and holds in a wince. There were noises everywhere. 'Why is it so loud? And why can I smell a lot of things? It is because of my wolf parts?'

"Yes, it is. You're part wolf now so of course, it will be different." Mono said and Jikan mentally snorts. He closes the door behind him and was about to head out towards the store before a small voice interrupts him.

"Hello? You're my new neighbor right?" A soft voice asked, making Jikan turn around to see who it was. He holds back his surprise from showing on his face. It was Haruhi. He nods and sticks his hand out towards her. "Jikan o Kizande." He said, his voice just above a whisper.

Haruhi smiles and shakes his hand. "Haruhi Fujioka. It's nice to meet you. Are you going out to get food?" She asks and Jikan nods. She smiles again. "May I accompany you? I'm going shopping as well." Jikan hesitates but nods after a moment and he starts to walk down the stairs. Haruhi follows.

"Shy now huh? Or do you just like that mask?" Mono teases.

'Oh hush it Mono. Even if I changed worlds and bodies, my personality will be the same unless you make me from scratch and I don't remember my memories.' Jikan said and was rewarded with laughing. He lets out a slight huff of air in annoyance. Haruhi looks at him in confusion. "You okay?" Jikan holds back a blush of embarrassment and nods. Mono laughs harder.

••• Next Day

A small boy shifts in his bed as the sun was pouring down on him through the window. He turns over and curls up like a dog. His crimson hair made the bed look like it was on fire as the sun hit it as well. A wolf with wings was lying curled up at the foot of the boy's bed. She shifted as well because of the sun before she stretches and lifts her head up.

"Ko, wake up. We have much to do today." Mono voiced and Jikan lets out a small groan. He turns over so that he's on his back instead of his side. He lets out a groan again before his eyes flutter open. He shuts them because of the light before opening them again. He shoots a glare at Mono before sitting up and stretching. He lets out a yawn and reaches his hand out to his nightstand. After moving it around for a moment, he finds what he was looking for and grabs it. He puts on the glasses he just grabbed and got off the bed as he could now see.

He purposely flipped the blankets off onto Mono as he got up. He grinned when he heard Mono growl. Walking to the bathroom, he takes a shower and gets ready for the day. He dries his hair afterword. After getting ready, he heads outside and goes for a jog. Once he was done, he walks up the stairs and was surprised to see Haruhi at his door with a hand raised, getting ready to knock.

Haruhi had turned around at hearing footsteps. She lowers her hand and smiles. "Good morning Jikan-san. Did you sleep well?" She asks. Jikan nods. Haruhi smiles. "I'm glad. Would you like to join me and my Father for breakfast?" She asks.

Jikan's eyes widen slightly before he hesitates. "I don't want to be a bother…" He says before Haruhi smiles at him and grabs his hand, pulling him to her apartment room. "Nonsense, you won't be a bother. Its already made, all we have to do is eat." She says and pulls him into her home. Jikan was too shocked to stop her as she dragged him into the living room. Haruhi told him to sit down and he did so, ablate a bit hesitantly. Haruhi went out to go get the food from the kitchen.

Feeling a stare, he looks to in front of himself. He sees a man with long brunet hair that was wavy and wearing PJs. He nods in respect to him and sticks out his hand. "Jikan o Kizande." The man narrows his eyes at him before he smiles and shakes his hand. "Ryoji Fujioka but please, call me Ranka." He said and Jikan nods. Haruhi walks out just then carrying two heavy pots. Ranka was about to get up but Jikan beats him to it. Ranka watches in surprise as Jikan gets up and takes one of the pots out of Haruhi's hand.

"I got this one," Jikan said and walks over to the table, setting it down on the table. Haruhi smiles and sets down the one she had as well. "Thank you Jikan-san." Jikan nods as a reply. Haruhi sits down beside her Father and puts food on her plate. Ranka and Jikan do the same before they all clap their hands and say a small prayer. They start to eat.

Surprisingly, breakfast went off without a hitch. Ranka did ask a few questions in which made Jikan nervous but he answered them non the less. After breakfast, Jikan helped Haruhi wash up the dishes before he thanked them again for breakfast. He headed to his room before Haruhi interrupted him.

"Hey, Jikan-san? Do you need some help with unpacking?" She asks and Jikan looks at her. "Ah, I mean, it's so I can repay you for helping me at breakfast. It's the least I can do." Haruhi said, a little embarrassed. Jikan holds back a laugh and nods. "If you don't mind…" Jikan said and walks into his room, leaving the door open for Haruhi.

Haruhi smiles and walks in as well, closing the door behind her and taking off her shoes. "Sorry to intrude. I don't mind helping at all." Haruhi said and walks into the living room where Jikan was. Jikan nods and picks up the box that had all of his money. He goes and hides it in his closet before coming back. He stares at his living room, seeing where he wants everything. He then looks back at Haruhi. "Well then, let's get to work shall we?" He smiles.

Haruhi smiles back and nods. "We shall! Where do you want this?" She says cheerfully.

••• Some Hours Later

"So, you live alone? What happened to your family?" Haruhi asks as she sits on the cushion across from Jikan. She laid her head on her arms that were on the table. They had just got done putting everything away and it was already time for dinner. They were taking a break before thinking of going over to Haruhi's for dinner.

Jikan nods and leans back against his arms. "Yes, I live alone. I never knew my family either." Jikan said, not telling the full truth. Haruhi doesn't notice and she nods. "I'm sorry." Jikan shakes his head and stands up. "Don't be, why don't we start on Dinner? Ranka should be home soon."

Haruhi smiles and stands up as well. "Alright." She walks over to the door, grabbing her shoes and walking out. Jikan follows shortly after.

'She's really nice….'

"Yes, she is. So, do you think you like this world so far? I know it hasn't been too long since you've been here though."

'Hmm… I still can't tell…'

"Ah, only time can tell then."

'… Only time can tell, indeed…'

••• Six Days Later

Jikan looks himself over in the mirror in worry. Mono was sitting at his feet. Eleven days have passed since Haruhi had helped him get his house in order. Since then, he has been befriending Ranka and Haruhi. Ranka now trusted him to take care of Haruhi while they were in school. Right now, he was looking himself over as he was nervous.

"Ko, you look fine. If you keep standing there, you'll be late." Mono said as she laughs.

Jikan lets out a sigh before he turns around and walks out of the bathroom, petting Mono on the head as he goes. He instead goes to his kitchen. Once in the kitchen, he grabs some bread and puts it in the toaster before mixing cinnamon and sugar. He gets out a butter knife and butter. Hearing the toaster spring up, he grabs the bread that was now hard and puts it on a plate. Putting butter on the slices, he sprinkles them in cinnamon sugar.

Just then, he hears a knock at his door. Making sure the sugar didn't fall, he walks to the door with his food in hand, leaving the plate in the sink. He opens the door and sees who was at it. It was Haruhi. He gives her a small smile before handing her one of his toasts. She smiles and takes it. "Thank you. Did you sleep well?" she asks.

Jikan looks behind him to make sure he didn't leave anything out before he steps out and closes his door behind himself. He looks at her before walking down the stairs. "As well as someone can when school is the next day." Jikan relays and Haruhi lets out a laugh.

She follows Jikan down the stairs and starts to eat the cinnamon sugar toast Jikan gave her.

"Well, I had a hard time getting to sleep as well. I'm so nervous." She confesses as they walk on the sidewalk, heading to Ouran. Jikan holds in a smile as he moves his hand and pats her head twice before he pulls it back and puts his hand in his sweater pocket. Haruhi smiles at him as she understood his silent reassurance.

They walked in silence and ate. After a few more minutes, they finally make it to Ouran. Looking up at the building, their eyes widen slightly. "Why pink?" Jikan mumbles in horror, making Haruhi burst out laughing. He shoots her a look of betrayal, making her laugh harder. Jikan lets out a huff of air and walks forwards, ignoring the pinkness of the school. Haruhi quickly catches up, still laughing slightly as a red blush was on her cheeks because of laughing so much.

Jikan holds back a smile. He looks around them only to notice that most, if not all students were staring at them. More specifically, his hair. He just ignores them as well and walks into the building. He pulls out a slip of papers with directions to the principles office before he starts walking again, Haruhi following.

After a few minutes of walking, Jikan finally finds the principle's office. He looks at Haruhi and smiles before he takes a deep breath and knocks. A few moments go by before a deep, muffled voice yells to come in. Jikan twists the door nob and walks in, leaving the door open for Haruhi. Haruhi walks in behind him and closes the door behind her. They look around the room and see that it was just as extravagant as the rest of the pink castle they call an academy.

A voice clears its throat, gaining the attention of the two students. A man who looks no older than twenty-five smiles at them. He had shaggy blond hair, silver strands coming up from the roots revealing that he was far older than he seemed. His eyes were of an ocean blue and slightly dull but still alive with happiness. His skin was also a nice shade of peach pink.

Jikan steps forward and bows his head slightly. "Jikan o Kizande, sir." He said, keeping his voice low as always. Haruhi steps forward and bows as well, she just bows low with respect instead of just a nod. "Haruhi Fujioka, it's nice to meet you Mr. Suoh," Haruhi says and pulls up from bowing to look at the Suoh head. He just smiles at them and shuffles around his papers on his desk, looking for something and while doing so he starts to talk as well.

"Nice to meet you two as well. As you know, I'm Mr. Suoh and the principal who runs this place. I just want to go down the rules with you two before you go." He says and his face lights up with glee as he finds what he was looking for, he also made an 'ah' sound when he did. He pulled out two pieces of paper and writes a tiny note on each before handing them to the two students, both taking one.

"These are your schedules. I took the time of writing down directions as this place can get a little confusing if you're not careful so please try to not get lost." He informs them with a worried sigh. He was thinking back to all the missing people incidents that had rallied up quite wealthy families. He pushes that thought away though and instead he smiles at the two students who were looking at each other's schedules. Jikan frowns. He wasn't in the same class as her but he expected it would go this way. He was older than her after all.

"By quite a lot if you don't mind me adding," Mono said, popping up out of the blue. Jikan felt his eye twitch slightly. Luckily the paper was in front of his face so no one saw it.

'It was your idea to put a 23-year-old in an anime with 15 to 17-year-olds.' Jikan mumbled into the link, annoyed at the subtle hint of Mono calling him old. Mono just laughed.

"-and so I hope you two follow these rules and if you have a problem, please just come see me and hopefully we can resolve it. If you don't have any more questions then you two may leave. Have a good day." Mr. Suoh said and Haruhi smiles at him. "You as well sir." She said and walked towards the door.

Jikan pushes down an embarrassed blush threatening to rise and he nods to Mr. Suoh before turning around and following Haruhi out. 'Crap…. I didn't hear a word he said….' Jikan could hear Mono laughing up a storm. This time a slight pink dusted his cheeks before he pushes it down and looks at Haruhi. He sees she was staring at him. He tilts his head in question, making Haruhi smile.

"Well, it seems we part ways here. My class is to the left, yours is on the right. Let's meet up at the library once classes are done, okay?" She says as she looks back down at her paper. 'I could've sworn his cheeks turned pink just a second ago…. Oh well, I just hope the class is good.' She thought.

Jikan stiffens slightly before he nods and pats her head again. "Library 1. its right next to the entrance. We can study in there." He says and gives her a soft smile. She smiled back as she had looked up at feeling his hand on her head again. She ways and starts walking down the hall to the left, looking at the small map on the back so she didn't get lost as she was prone to do.

Jikan settles his face before he too heads towards his room, going down the hall on the right. After a few twists and turns, he finally makes it to the room he was looking for. Classroom 2-A. He knocks gently on the door. After a few moments of just standing there, the door slides open.

"Things are just about to get interesting…"

••• A Few Hours Later

A few hours later brought a bored and annoyed Jikan as he waited for Haruhi right outside Library one. He let out a sigh at the loud noises coming from inside. It was supposed to be a library and Libraries are supposed to be quiet and yet, people were yelling in there. Quite frankly, Jikan was very annoyed. It was not making his mood any better than it was before though as one of his classmates was annoying.

After he had entered the room, all he had said was his name before he went a took a seat beside a blond dude who looked like the principle reincarnated and more lively. I mean, come on. The guy was tapping him with his pencil every few seconds as he was trying to get Jikan's attention. All of that was during the lesson too. Jikan had tried to ignore him and almost succeeded when the blond idiot had grabbed his arm right when he was getting up to leave as the bell had rung.

Jikan had turned around and gave him the deadliest glare he could manage. He took glee in seeing the blond guy falling to the ground in fear and shock as he glared down at him. Jikan then turned around, grabbed his stuff and left the room to go and meet up with Haruhi, all the while leaving the blond pale as a ghost and shaking. Jikan had also thought he saw tears before he turned away. He had also realized later as he waited for Haruhi that, that blond guy was Tamaki. He hadn't watched the anime in who knows how long. Now that he was thinking about it, he doesn't remember it all that much, only his favorite episodes and characters.

"Jikan-san! Sorry, I'm late! I got lost…" Haruhi's voice interrupts Jikan's dark thoughts and he looks up to see Haruhi walking towards him with an awkward smile. Jikan gives her a small smile in return and looks at the doors to his left before looking back at Haruhi. "Come on, there are other Libraries to study in," Jikan says and starts walking down the hall.

Haruhi follows, more hearing it than see what the problem was. She frowns.

••• Ten Minutes Later

Haruhi groans out in frustration as she glares at the third Library door they have visited. "Why are all the Libraries so loud and crowded?! Their Libraries!" Haruhi exclaims as she glares harder at the doors. Jikan to was mad at this even if he knew this was going to happen. He liked Libraries…

Haruhi forcefully lets out a sigh to calm herself before she starts walking up the stares that were close by. "Come on Jikan, I heard that Music Room 3 was abandoned to maybe we can study in there." She says and continues walking. Jikan holds down a smile and catches up with her. "No ghosts or I'm leaving you in there alone…." He jokes and she lets out a laugh, lightly hitting his arm. She doesn't reply to that though as she stares out the window they were walking by, deep in thought.

He knew what she was thinking so he reached out and pats her head and continues to walk. She looks at him in surprise before smiling a big smile at him. She didn't know how he does it but she was glad he was here.

After a few minutes of walking, they finally come across Music Room three. Haruhi looked at Jikan as he stared at the door with a slight pull of his eyebrow, indicating he was thinking. Over the past week and a half, Haruhi had come to like his company as she finally had a friend now. She had always been good at observing people so she picked up on his moods quite easily though sometime she can't read him.

It was odd, she had thought before she pushed up her big glasses. She grabbed the handle and pushed the door open, only to be greeted by peddles. She shuts her eyes as well because of the light that blinded her. Jikan had stiffened and shut his eyes as well.

"Welcome!" They heard as they slowly opened their eyes. What greeted them when they had opened their eyes was a sight full of gorgeous men. Or well, boys. They weren't old enough to be men yet. They were still learning the basics of life after all.

Jikan immediately regretted following Haruhi instead of just telling her they could study at his place even if it changed the storyline. Jikan almost jumped when he heard the doors behind them slam shut, sealing their fate.

"Jeez, you make it sound like a bad thing."

'It might as well be…' He grumbled and moved his hand behind him to see if it really was locked. It was. 'Dang, it!' He thought and was tempted to growl but just settled for a glare instead. Meanwhile, Haruhi did jump at the door slamming shut. She immediately turned around to stare at it before looking at Jikan. Jikan slightly shook his head and Haruhi let out a sigh before turning back to the boys.

Two redheads, twins, took a step forward with bored eyes. "Oh, it's boys." They said in sync and looked at each other before hearing a loud yell. Everyone looked at the blond guy, Tamaki, who was the one who screamed. He pointed at Jikan with wide, excited eyes. "Did you come to see me?!" He yells and runs forward with his arms outstretched for a hug. Jikan's eyes slightly widen and he quickly dodges out of the way.

A loud bang was heard as Tamaki ran head first into the doors. He lets out a pitiful whine and looks up at Jikan while holding his nose. Jikan glares back at him but the glare wasn't as deadly as it was before since he wasn't really annoyed anymore. "No, you lunatic." The twins let out a laugh as Tamaki immediately found himself in a corner and growing mushrooms.

"Oh wow! You must be something if you can put Boss in the corner!" The twins say as they laugh, holding onto each other. Haruhi looks at Tamaki with a raised eyebrow before just ignoring it as there were much bigger problems, like how to get away from these guys!

The twins soon stop laughing and look at the guy who had a notebook. "So, who are these guys?" Hikaru asks. The guy with the notebook, Kyoya, pushes up his glasses as they glint dangerously. "They are the honor students that got accepted this year." He points his pen at Haruhi. "Haruhi Fujioka, fifteen years old. She comes from the poor side of town and only lives with her Father who interns is a crossdresser. Then there's Jikan o Kizande," He points his pen at Jikan then. "Sadly, I do not know very much about him as his files are as empty as they come."

Everyone except Haruhi, Kyoya, a tall stoic guy, and Jikan widen their eyes. A small boy whose hair was a shaggy blond and had huge purplish blue eyes climbs down the tall guys, Takashi or 'Mori' to be short, shoulders. Honey, the small boy, quickly ran up to Jikan and hugged his pink rabbit close. He stared up at him with wide eyes.

"Wow, you must be a superhero or something if even Kyo-chan can't find anything out about you!" He said, his voice high. Jikan looks down at Honey, losing the glare as he disliked making kids fear him. He was about to say something when a shout sounded throughout the room, a crash following. Jikan and the others look at what caused it.

The twins were leaning over a broken vase with Haruhi beside it, holding her hand tightly. In an instant, Jikan was by her side and grabbing her wrist to see the damage. Her hand was cut but luckily it wasn't too deep. He lets out a sigh of relief and smiles gently at her. "Haru-chan, you have to be more careful with stuff. Now your fathers going to murder me for letting you get hurt." He said, his lips still pulled into a gentle smile.

Haruhi smiles sheepishly at him. "Sorry…" She mumbles, embarrassed. He searches through his bag and pulls out some bandages. He wraps her wound with care. Once he was done, he pats her head two times before standing up as he had sat down to inspect the wound.

"It's alright, just be more careful next time." He said and helped her up as well. They both turn back to the host club. Jikan freezes and he couldn't help but blush slightly at seeing them all staring. He glares at them, ignoring the heat he felt on his face. "What?" He grumbles out.

"N-Nothing!" Tamaki and the twins yell while Honey comes up and stands in front of Jikan again. "Jik-chan! You have a pretty smile! You should smile more!" He exclaims, making Jikan's blush darkened. He huffs and looks the other way as if to hide his blushing face. "Oh shut up…"

"Hahahaha! Oh, what a Tsundere you are being right now!"

'You shut up too!'

"Hahahahaha!"

••• Twenty Minutes Later

Jikan sighs as he watches Haruhi wow the host club by making instant coffee. Don't get him wrong, it was very amusing in real life, just like in the anime. He just felt… like he was intruding on them. They all just warmed up to Haruhi and him but even if it was just a few hours ago they were trying to escape, he still felt like he didn't belong here. He would just have to wait and see though, it could just be him thinking too much about it though he highly doubted that.

"You know, you're the first to ever escape my eyes Kizande. Just what are you hiding?" A voice sounded, snapping Jikan out of his thoughts. He looked to his left as the voice came from over there. He was surprised to Kyoya there, pushing up his glasses as he stared at Jikan from the corner of his eye. Jikan kept his eyes locked with Kyoya's before looked back out at the drama playing out before him. He stays silent for a few moments, thinking before he finally spoke up.

"Hmm," He hums before Jikan smiles a secretive smile at him, a challenge clearly present in his eyes as he looks back at Kyoya. "If you're so eager to find out, I'll tell you," Jikan smirks at Kyoya's surprised expression. "Though, only after a year has passed through, I wonder if you can find all the secrets I have Ootori. I won't be around long so you best hurry." He says mysteriously before his face smoothens out and a gentle smile tugs at his lips. He goes over to Haruhi as she was heading to leave.

"Haru-chan? Where are you going?" He asks, leaving a shocked heir behind. Haruhi jumps in surprise before she smiles at him. "Tamaki-senpai sent me out to get more instant coffee." She explains. Jikan 'ah's' at this before he walks forward and opens the door for her. "Then I'll come too." He says. Haruhi snorts and walks outside the room, Jikan following. "Thanks, I could use the help…" Jikan just pats her head and heads towards the entrance, Haruhi following.

"So, how does it feel like to be a host? You being a girl and all." Jikan asks, making Haruhi laugh. "Quite weird but I could get used to it. What about you? Even though they haven't forced you into an outfit yet, the girls are quite taken to you." Haruhi teases, making Jikan blush slightly. He remains silent for a moment before he confesses. "I, uh….. I…. Dislike it. I don't exactly like girls in that way…" He trails off at the end and looks away from his friend.

Meanwhile, Haruhi just snorts. 'Figures he would be…' She looks at him to reply and smiles at his embarrassment. "I won't tell." She soon noticed his frame slump slightly in relief. He was very nervous then. She giggled at that. Jikan turns his head to look at her, he gives her a soft smile.

"Thank you, I'm glad I can trust you." He says. Haruhi smiles back before a questioning look appears in her eyes. "I'm curious, why did you tell me?" She asks as they near the entrance. This place was way too big. Jikan looks at her from the side of his eye before walking forward and opening the door for her. "Well, I trust you and you're a girl that isn't attracted to me. It makes it easier to for me to talk to you if you know some secrets." Jikan replies.

They walk out the door one after the other and head down the road once there off school grounds. "Hmm… only some?" She teases with a smile. Jikan smiles again and looks ahead of himself. "Yes but maybe in time, I can tell you then. Hopefully, then, you'll understand why…." He looks at her and she looks back. "If by chance I do, tell the host club when I've passed." He explains and Haruhi looks at him in confusion before she nods hesitantly. She smiles at him, "It makes it sound like you're dying." She jokes and Jikan just smiles at her.

'It's almost like that anyways.'

••• Ten Minutes Later

Jikan walks over to Haruhi to give her and her guest, Ayanokoji some more water. He knew what was coming so he just poured some water into their cups and sat it down. He pulled on the sleeve of his shirt as it was slightly tangled. Too soon, Ayanokoji got mad and flipped the table. He quickly reaches out and catches Haruhi, pulling her back to his chest. He rested his chin on her head and glared at Ayanokoji, paying no mind to the weird squealing he heard.

'This is going to be fun.' He thought, Mono humming in agreement. At hearing a screech and a bam, the other host and guests turn around to see Jikan holding Haruhi and glaring at Ayanokoji. The hosts soon make there way over to them after dismissing everyone for the day. They listen to what Ayanokoji was spouting.

"He tried to touch me! Tamaki! He needs to leave-" Her words were cut short as she was suddenly drenched in water by Kaoru. Hikaru was close to Haruhi and Jikan and was going to do the same to them but froze as Jikan's glare was directed at him. He drops the water he was carrying and backs up with his hands up in surrender.

This makes Jikan almost laugh but he holds it in and looks back at the scene. He decided to speak up. "She's lying, I was watching Haruhi the whole time and was right next to him when it happened. He did no such thing." He proclaims. Ayanokoji was about to speak up when Tamaki quickly put her in her place. She soon left in a crying fit.

The hosts look at the mess and at Haruhi who was still in Jikan's protective hold. Jikan stares right back at them before he speaks up. "Do you have any more spare outfits for him? His is torn." He says and moves his arms away from Haruhi's stomach to expose that it was indeed torn.

Kyoya frowns. "Let me go check."

••• Ten Minutes Later

Haruhi takes off the blue vest and white shirt slowly as she was taking her time. Just then, Tamaki walks in carrying the parts of the clothing that was missing. He freezes, his mouth open as he was going to say something. Haruhi to freezes and covers herself. Tamaki closes the curtain after dropping the clothes.

••• Thirty Minutes Later

"So…. You're a girl?" Tamaki asks attentively. Haruhi nods as she walks out in dressed in the female uniform. "Yes but I honestly don't care if I'm a female or a male. All that matters is what's inside." She says and looks down at herself.

Tamaki's face starts to get red before he hides his face in his hand. Kyoya stares amusingly at him before commenting. "I think this is the beginning of love." The other's eyes widen and Jikan sighs.

'Ranka's going to kill me…'

••• A Few Days Later

It was a normal day at the host club for Jikan and Haruhi as only one guess had come in. Though, that's probably because the host club wasn't open but they allowed one girl to come in as they restock everything. Her name was Kanako Kasugazaki. She was sitting at a table gently brushing her fingers over the teacup in her hands with a sad look. She was going to be teaching Haruhi how to dance for an upcoming Dance.

Haruhi was across from her and they were talking about something that Jikan couldn't hear as he was too far away. Jikan was sitting at a table by a window. He was writing stuff in his notebook. Ever since he got here, he liked to keep tabs on what happened so that when he finds his home place, he will remember his adventures.

Kyoya, Tamaki, and the Twins were in a corner talking or well, it was more like Tamaki and the Twins while Kyoya was staring intensely at Jikan as he was fully immersed in writing in his book, reliving the experiences. Kyoya narrows his eyes slightly at this as he wonders what he was writing.

Meanwhile, Mori and Honey were sitting at a table by Jikan eating cake. Honey looks over to Jikan and then back at his cakes before he looks back at Jikan. He stands up and grabs a vanilla cake with banana cream on top and walks over to Jikan. He sets the small cake down on his table and pokes Jikan in the arm.

Jikan snaps out of writing and looks down at Honey with slightly raised eyebrows. Honey smiles up at him. "Jik-chan, want some cake?" He asks cutely. Jikan looks at the cake Honey had brought him and his eyes light up in curiosity. He looks back at Honey as he smelt what kind of cake it was.

"Vanilla and Banana?" Jikan asks, making Honey's eyes widen before he grins and nods. Jikan smiles slightly at him and pats Honey's head twice before he closes his book and pulls the small cake to him. "My favorite. Thank you, Honey." He voiced softly as he picked up the fork.

Honey's eyes widen more a glee and awe fill him. He had just found out one of his favorite sweets and got a smile in return. Honey smiles brighter. "Your welcome, Jik-chan! If you ever want some cake, I'll be willing to share!" Honey said as he bounces slightly. Jikan was still smiling slightly at Honey. "Then I might take you up on that offer Honey." He then cuts out a piece of cake with his fork and takes a bit of it. His eyes slightly twinkle as it dissolves in his mouth. He lets out a slight hum of approval.

Honey watches and smiles. "You like it?" He asks. Jikan nods as he goes in for a second. "Yes, it's very well made. Sadly, I don't get to indulge myself in sweets very much as too much of them makes me sick." He explained. Honey's eyes widen before a look of determination crosses his face. "Don't worry Jik-chan! I'll make sure you can have a cake every day!" He says with a cute pout of determination.

Jikan smiles slightly at him and he reaches out to pat his head. "Thank you, Honey, but I wouldn't be able to eat that many cakes a week. How about this, you bring me a cake every week instead, otherwise, I'll be too sick to even come to school." Jikan said. Honey's eyes widen before he grins again. "Okay!"

"NOOoooo!"

Jikan and Honey look over to the yell to see what was up and what they see it a downed Tamaki and a stoic Haruhi. Jikan raises an eyebrow in amusement. Never a day went by without Tamaki always making a fool of himself.

"Awe, you're getting all mushy."

'Shut it.'

"Hahaha."

Honey goes over and looks at Tamaki in worry. "What's wrong Tama-chan?" He asks. Tamaki looks up at Honey with wide teary eyes. "I wanna be the one who teaches Haruhi how to dance but, but, I'm too tall!" He whines and throws his head into his knees as he pouts. The twins laugh out loud as Haruhi continues to look unimpressed.

"Ah, the bindings of love at its finest."

'Huh?'

Mono lets out a snort. "You'll understand one day, Ko." Jikan holds back a sigh threatening to come out. 'Uhuh…. I doubt it Mono.' Mono just snorts again. "We will see about that Little Ko, we will see…"

••• A Few Hours Later

Jikan lets out a slight sigh as he and Haruhi walk home together. He was tired and was in no mood to deal with people, let alone a ball or dance, whatever they wanted to call it.

'Honestly, it was a lot better to watch this on a screen than in real life…'

"And why is that? I thought you liked this anime."

'I do but… it just doesn't fit… Me. I don't like that it's so laid back and comedic. I want action… I want adventure. This isn't what I want…' Jikan said as he looked ahead of himself blankly. He was taught how to fight in his last life before he died. He had always loved the feeling that fighting gave off. He would never seek people who would fight him but when he did fight, he always came out on top. Ever since he got this new body, he has been practicing his kendo and other styles just to get his new body back in shape.

Mono has also been a major help in teaching him new moves or even things that he didn't know he could do. Like Genjutsu for instance. He had an idea where he would be going after this world if Mono is teaching him early.

"… Well, give it time. Give me your final answer when it is time. I am sorry you feel this way."

'… Don't be Mono. You have done more for me than even my family did. Not a good comparison but still. I don't know how I'll ever repay you.'

Mono was silent after that but if he could see her, her eyes would be soft and caring. 'You are wrong Little Ko. It is I who could never repay you…'

Jikan jumps slightly at feeling a slight poke on his arm. He looks over to where it came from and he sees Haruhi. He tilts his head slightly, his wolf instincts coming out. Haruhi smiles at that but it was clear that she was concerned. "Are you alright Jikan-san?" She asks.

Jikan's eyes widen slightly before he musters up a small smile. He nods to her. "Of course, I just got lost in thought is all." He says as he looks back to staring ahead. Haruhi sighs and nods. She was still concerned but she let it slide. She thinks back to what she saw that made her ask if he was okay in the first place. Dead eyes with a glaze over them slightly staring off ahead and a frown marring his face. 'Unnerving…'

Hello, wolves! I hope you enjoyed this chapter, sorry for the bad glich thingy that happened. It should be better now. Please tell me what you think!
