"It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries." the words can from the radio as a little black hedgehog smiled at a young girl with long beautiful blonde hair. The little hedgehog had red eyes with red streaks on him. The girl was wearing a blue and white dress with little blue shoes as she dance with the little hedgehog. She giggled every time the little hedgehog fell she would say "Shadow like this back and fourth back and fourth.". The hedgehog tried but fell every time she would spend all the time with Shadow he would hide and play pranks to the workers in the huge Space Ark. One day when Shadow said when he is about sixteen "Maria why do you have stay in this place doesn't get lonely up in space?"
"Well Shadow I don't know Grandfather say I am sick and I can't go back until he makes a cure Shadow. I wish I could down there and see the sun smell the flowers see other people. I want to travel the world to see the beautiful things." said Maria with a sad smile. Shadow had never seen Maria cry like she did when he asked her that question. Shadow felt sadness first hand it had smacked him in the face as he teared up realizing that he would never go to the world Maria wanted to go back to. But Maria hugged Shadow and gave him a kiss on the head like a caring mother did to a child. They walked to the library where the books showed the old history of earth. After a few hours Maria showed Shadow pictures of old and dead celebrities back on earth like Marlin Monroe, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, and Ect.. She laughed as Shadow tried to act like Elvis.
After all that fun as they were walking to their rooms for the night G.U.N soldiers come rushing from the entrance room where the Rockets stop they were armed with guns. Maria shoved Shadow in a room as some of them past their room. She grabs Shadow's hand as she and him rush to the transport station as the G.U.N soldiers rush and fire at them. One of the bullets was about to hit Maria when Shadow pulled out an Emerald and hit the bullet. Shadow didn't know about this new cool power as they run G.U.N soldiers stopped them. Maria hits one of the men and grabs their gun as they get in the ship. Then before the ship's door would shut one of the agents shot Maria in the leg as they went off to Earth.
Shadow and Maria begin to cry because they both knew that she isn't going to make it. Once they got to Earth Shadow picks up Maria and tries to get her to a hospital. When he got there Doctors got her and rushed her to a room as they would later say she wouldn't live much longer. When Shadow went out of the room he was approached by a young man who said "I hear your girl doesn't have much longer to live maybe I can help.". Shadow said "I want her to live her life.". Then the man said in a rush "Well I have a body she can be in and she can live a life and be with you sir. Just get her to come with us and I can help.". Shadow toke her as she was still bleeding after they drove to a lab Shadow saw the body it a blonde furred hedgehog. The man grabbed the girl put her on the bed as he attaches a cord to her head as the runs to a computer and starts the machine.

As Shadow Looks and sees the new body twitch and get up as she smiles and looks at her new form she screams and says "What happened to me who's body is this?". Shadow walks to here and says "You were shot and didn't have long to live so this man came to me and wanted to help he had to give you a new body.". Maria the hedgehog looked at Shadow and said "This isn't so bad I look nice and I can do something I have always wanted to do (She gives Shadow a kiss)". Shadow Blushes and thanks the man as they walk off to do the things they wanted to do every since they were kids.
