I don't believe in the smile that you leave when you walk away and say goodbye.
He smiled at her. Reaching up to caress her cheek.
It was time to say goodbye again. She knew that but she hated it. Everytime he would do this smile. Act as if he wasn't off to do something dangerous. That neither of them were in extreme danger.
It had been six months since Dumbledores death, since Harry had broken up with her. Three months since they'd started again, neither able to take it any longer. Harry wanted to protect her but they were both miserable, She couldn't take it any more and had somehow convinced him that they should get back together. They met in secret so that no one would find out. One of Harry's requests.
Which left them here. About to say goodbye again. Neither knowing how long for.
"Harry-" Ginny started.
"Shh," Harry cut across her, "Gin, don't say anything."
"But-" She began again.
Harry put his finger to her lips. Smiling down at her.
"Gin everything is going to be alright. Believe me." He said before kissing her forehead and disaparating with a soft pop. Leaving Ginny alone in the room.
"But what if I can't Harry?" She asked the empty room.
