A/N: So, you all remember way back when, when Henry was stranded in Neverland and acquired a piece of glass that made it possible for him to communicate with his family? Yeah, that tiny plot line opened up so many possibilities - at least in my mind - and as it turns out, I actually wrote a little something about it a long time ago that I am going to add onto now. So, here is the prologue. I will probably update again tonight. Leave a nice review if you're feeling it.

"What's this glass you have here?" Felix asked, circling nearer until he stood directly in front of him, teetering nearly a foot and a half taller than the younger Henry, "What is it?"

"It's - nothing." Henry murmured, frantically trying to shove the glass into his jacket pocket, but to no avail. Felix got to it before he'd had even half a chance, "Felix, give it back." Henry snapped, bouncing around as the taller boy held it just out of reach, appraising what he saw on the other side.

"Who is this, then?" Felix cackled, and to Henry's dismay, when he had the opportunity to glance at the people looking back at him, it was no longer Emma and Regina, but Ruby. Fortunately, too, for if anyone Felix recognized had been on the other end of the call, the glass would've been shattered only moments later.

"Just a friend from back home." Henry insisted, his voice giving away his own shock and confusion, "Ruby, from the diner."

"That's me." Ruby announced, as Henry jumped from the piece of glass once more.

"Where did you find this?" Felix questioned, twisting the little shiny object so that he could see it from all angles, "Who gave it to you?"

"My mom gave it to me." he admitted hesitantly.

"Well, I'm just going to keep hold of this from now on. Now you won't have to worry yourself with mothers and escape plans and Ruby from the diner." he concluded, taunting Henry for only a moment longer, before shoving the thing into his own pocket and taking his leave.

"Who said anything about an escape plan?" Henry called after him.

"Like I said, no need to worry yourself about it now." he cackled, barreling off into the woods once more.
