I just can't get the idea out of my head and I kind of want it to happen on the show now. Prologue
It was a normal weekday for the BAU. No cases yet, which gave them a chance to catch up on paper work. The phone rang, causing Reid to quickly answer it.
"Hello? Oh hi Olivia!" His voice instantly brightened and the others looked at each other. "How is she?"
Suddenly Reid's cheerful face changed into complete horror.
"Sweetie, what is it?" Garcia asked. she had been having an in depth comic book discussion with Reid moments before. Reid ignored her. The others looked more concern as well.
"How...How is that even possible? You must be mistaken, it has to be someone else." Reid's voice was shaking. Garcia and Morgan exchanged worried glances. "But...but you had security...how could someone even have gotten in?" Reid closed his eyes as he listened. Garcia placed her hand on his, and felt tremble. "Yes...yes thank you for...informing me." Slowly he hung up, staring at the wall in front him of him-clearly in shock.
"Come on Reid, speak to us," Morgan said. Reid closed his eyes.
"S...someone killed my mom," he whispered. "My mother is dead."
Garcia put her hand to her mouth and the others stared at each other in horrified shock as tears fell down Reid's cheeks.
