Kenshin stepped out onto the path outside the dojo. Ms. Kaoru had left for private lessons today, and had forgotten her umbrella. He needed to bring it to her, that he did.
As he walked down the muddy streets, his Battousai self flashed him a warning. Someone was coming! On reflex, he whipped out his sword and slashed the person. Oh, Yahiko. What was he doing here?
"Ken...shin..." the boy looked down. Blood was dripping down the blade, buried in his chest. A dark puddle formed.
"Oh, Yahiko, what is it?" Kenshin asked innocently. He slowly withdrew his sword.
"Not...much... (he coughed, spewing blood)...you forgot...Kaoru's umbrella," he collapsed. Kenshin sighed. Not another one.
He decided that it was time to arrive again.
He slowly set down his umbrella, reversed the blade on his sakabato, and wandered around, killing everyone in sight. Hello, Tae...Tsubame, why the shock? Sano wasn't surprised, he just grinned and dropped. Then...
Miss Kaoru and her student were still practicing. She turned as he came in for a greeting, and then blinked as he disappeared and the boy next to her grew an extra hole. His parents rushed in, and they died instantly.
Kenshin decided that, since he was going to kill her any way, he would have some fun first. He pulled her into a passionate kiss, and was surprised when she responded. Of course, she wasn't expecting the up-swing, but that wasn't his problem.
As she fell, the world went dark.
The nerdy man sighed. He felt so...strong when he played this game. He slid a few more coins into the machine, and sat back. The headset slid easily back over his eyes.
Footsteps in the alleyway...
Kaoru bowled him over, once again.
"Oro!" Yes, time to arrive again, indeed...
(Don't be mad)
Ok, this is just something I did on the spur of the moment. I'm writing something else right now, so this is just a time-killer. I might write more if I get reviews, though...
And if you're confused, say so in your review and I'll email you to explain. Ok?
