A/N so this is my first fanfic! TBH is feels weird to be writing an AN when I'm used to reading them! This si a plot bunny that has been hopping round my head for a while so I thought I might as well write it down. This is my first EVER fanfic so please be nice . Please R&R, I am open to constructive criticism! The Laura Lyrics are in itallics and the Holly-words are in normalness.
Disclaimer: I AM NOT J.K Rowling and/or Laura Marling. (Who knew they could be the same person?)
Tonks was running down the many steps on the numerous stairs that cascaded down through Hogwarts, she had to get to the entrance hall, to get to him.
Well I, own this field
And I wrote this sky
And I have no reason, to reason with you
She landed at the bottom surprisingly steadily and turned to see Remus. He was duelling Antonin Dolohov. He was losing.
I'd be sad that I never held your hand as you were lowered, but I'd understand that I'd never let it go
I'd be sad that I never held your hand as you were lowered, but I'd understand that the world does what it does,
She ran to help him but he shouted at her to stay back, to let him do the fighting. Noble git.
And you never did learn to let the little things go
And you never did learn to let me be
And you never did learn to let little people grow
And you never did learn how to see
A green curse shot out of Dolohov's wand, and as if everything was in slow motion, Remus fell with a light thud onto the already body littered floor.
But I whisper that I love this man, now and for forever to your soul as it floats out of the window
Without really thinking she shouted "Bombarda!" and a heavy stone wall locked itself around Dolohov's weak body. She ran to Remus, he looked so peaceful, so content with the world that hated his being.
To the world that you turned your back on,
To the world that never really let you be,
Tears stung at her eyes and she let them fall. She sunk down next to him and clasped his unfeeling hand in her blood-stained one.
And I am lower now, and lower still,
And you did always say that one day I would suffer.
You did always say that people get their pay.
You did always say that I was going places,
And that you wouldn't have it any other way.
She couldn't believe that her little Teddy would never know his father, but it gave her a sort of bittersweet determination to survive. For Remus. For Teddy. She had to live.
But I couldn't turn my back on a world, for what I like wouldn't let me
But I couldn't turn my back on a world for what I like and what I needed,
But I couldn't turn my back on a world, for what I like wouldn't let me
But I couldn't turn my back on a world for what I like and what I needed,
"Is the little werewolf dead? Who will look after the cub now?" cooed a sinister female voice from behind her. She turned around just in time for her tear-blurred eyes to make out a green flash emerge from the tip of Bellatrix's wand.
And I couldn't turn my back on a sweet smelling Blackberry stone.
Everything was gone, yet she was in bliss. Pure, everlasting bliss.
A/N Mark 2: Yay! Done! Again, please R&R!
