As the sun set past the distant mountains, night crawled over a sleeping town…who's name…I do not know…anyway, in the distance, a small, disc shaped object flew through the dark sky, landing on a vacant lot, on which used to reside a house.

The ship lifted its hood, and a tall, dark figure(with un-humanly nice features, I might add) stepped out, followed by a small, doll-like thing, bouncing along, as if their journey were a game.

The sexy-erm…taller figure tossed something small and shiny into the lot, and extracted a remote type thing from the pocket of his cape. He pushed the small button that was bulging out from the top, and a tall, silver dome formed over the lot, shimmering in the moonlight.

He then extracted from his cape, something that could have been a hand-held computer. He stared at it for a second, and then finally spoke to his toy, in a soft, but intimidating voice.

"Do humans look like this?"

It tilted its head to the side, and stared blankly at the screen for a moment, then said, in a high, cute, metallic voice, "I think they call this 'cheese',"

"Well, cheese, I will make sure you are the FIRST to die!"

"I think you should go with the more…simple look, sir, it would be a waste to cover your naturally handsome features,"

The tall figure raised an eyebrow, "You speak sensibly, Gir, why the sudden change in personality?"

"…don't kill the cheese…"

Ignoring his pet, he turned to the dome stepped inside. About a minute later, the door opened, and he stepped out. He was mostly the same, except his eyes were no longer a deep scarlet, but rather a greenish-blue, that complimented his facial structure. His hair was no longer sticking up in small spikes, but was now limp, and traced his face.

He looked at his gadget again, and fell upon a picture of an Earth animal. He read the description next to it. It was called a 'dog', and, apparently, it was a common belonging to humans. In addition, the picture was just about the cutest puppy in the world!

"Gir…" he said.

"Yeah, the evil goblins, man!" said Gir.

The alien, called Zim, was about to question Gir, but Gir walked into the dome, so he decided not to.

When he returned, he looked nothing like the picture. He was not furry, he had a very large zipper in the front of his suit, he was freaking GREEN, and the stitches were extremely visible…but…he was still very cute.

Zim took this as a minor problem, and concealed the dome once more. He then tapped the ship lightly, and it shrank to the size of his palm. As he collected his things, and smiled to himself, but knew that his journey had just begun.
