Down In Paris
I disclaim all these characters. Alright, so this is a drabble for the actual picture called 'Down in Paris' by FlamiatheDemon, which is on my profile page so go check her gallery out when you get the chance and could be now since you're not really taking care of official house duties, like I do but I'm ignoring 'em. I hope I can live up to some people expectation for this is my first and I finished doing my research on them, so let's see if I can do these two right.
The sun beamed on the city of Paris. Dark shadows of its partaking citizens were casted on the ground, moving along with their correspondents while one had a mind of it's own. The owner of it was called the Shadow Man but the man preferred to call himself, Dr Facilier.
With today's weather, people were staying inside or walk preferably where the shade was which would mean business would be slow for him today. He stepped out of the cool shady alley and peeked his head out to see who his next customer would be. He stepped out when he saw a small crowd circling around a small one band music man, a jumping goat and a young attractive gypsy girl.
There she was again. He thought as he leaned against the stone wall. Still dancing on that corner, stealing up all my possible customers.
He let out an angry sigh of frustration. "What's so great about a little girl dancin'?" he seemed to say to himself but was meant for his shadow. It shrugged, "Well…go find out." He ordered and it frowned. Next thing he knew, the shadow scurried unto the cobble stone and dragged Dr. Facilier's cane into and amongst the crowd.
Holding unto his top hat, He had no choice but to follow.
Once he was pulled into the front, he fixed himself up and looked over as the gypsy girl twirled and danced captivatingly. He couldn't lie to himself but he stood there and enjoyed a show for once. His mauve eyes made in contact with her emerald ones in that instant and for once, the charismatic was charmed.
With a half crack smile and a tip of the hat, Dr. Facilier tipped the gypsy girl.
Guess it was how things were done, Down in Paris.
