Not a ShinoXHinata! (Well, it can be if you want it to...) They are JUST friends.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything... Not even my Naruto headband is really mine. It belongs to the cockroaches who took my house away...

Regular P.O.V:

Today was the field trip. Yes, the one to the amusement park. The teachers that were avaliable were counting heads as the students headed out onto the bus.

The kids were excited and loud. Just what the teachers had expected, against their prayers. The bus headed out once the troublesome teenagers were seated. The bus rolled along with a noisey, almost grunting sound. With all the academy's money going to the park addimisions, the ride up there could not be made a pleasent one.

It should be simple enough:

-Go to the park

-Ride some coasters

-Eat lunch

-Ride more coasters

-Go home

But, of course, nothing could be made simple with this age group. Or with the heat. So on they went.

---

"Hey!! Lets ride this!!!" Naruto, as usual, was as excited as ever, to the dismay of Iruka sensei.

"I- uh- Naruto-kun? Since we just ate, maybe we should wait before riding-

"Leeeeets GOOOO!!!!" To the ride, he ran.

"...I'm almost always ignored..." Hinata Hyuuga quietly mumbled to herself.

"On the contrary, I'm always ignored." A small gasp excaped the young girls soft lips as she turned to face her fellow classmate. Obviously she was startled to find him there, which only seemed to make the tension between them worse.

"I- i don't ignore you, do I, Shino-kun?" She could sense the beads of sweat on the side of her forhead drip down. As she wiped them away with her jacket sleeve, her companion shifted his position just a little.

"No," He replied. "Not you."

And it was left at that as he walked away.

---

"Ahh! Woah! OOOF!! S- sorry! I didn't mean to- I mean... He pushed me and- Hinata?" Kiba helped Hinata up from her very uncomfortable spot under him on the dirty, and hot, cement ground.

"I didn't see you on the bus! When did you get here?"

"I've been here the whole time..." She said quietly.

"Ah... Oh..." Kiba replied as he scrached the back of his head akwardly. "Well... Um... Sorry for bumping into you..." After that was said he made a hasty retreat back to his friends, who had walked away, laughing.

Continuing her walk, Hinata spotted Shino looking at her, and remembered what he said earlier. 'I'm always ignored.' It sounded like a drum inside her head. She realized that they were very different, yet very alike, too.

"Hey, Hinata! I didn't know you came!" Ino yelled to her as her and her posse ran to where she was.

"Oh. Yeah..." Was the only answer, other than a shy little smile.

"Well, see ya!"

"...Bye..." Hinata said, only after they were gone.

"Would you like... Some company?" The shy little girl looked up and nodded slightly.

"Thank you, Shino-kun." He only nodded.

Without realizing, they walked in silence to the gardens.

"Hey, guys. Having fun?" They nodded."Hinata, would you like to ride the Cannon with me?"

"Um. I think I'll ride with Shino. But if he doesn't want too, then I'll ride with you." She actually smiled for the first time that day as she spoke.

'How troulesome..." The Nara thought. But replied with: "Ok. See you guys later, k?"

"Would you like to ride with me?" Hinata asked as she turned backto Shino. He nodded. "I guess we're noticed when we're together." She continued.

"I guess so..."

Shino's P.O.V:

Yes, I'm ignored. She's ignored.

It doesn't matter if we're noticed when were with each other, or not.

We have each others company, and that's more than I've ever had.
