We were in his living room quiet for what seemed ages , just listening to the rain fall outside. A new batch of tears threatening to come down my face. We both knew what had to be done, but it hurt so much to actually go our separate ways. All we did was fight all the time he was home, it wasn't working out for either of us. I loved him with all my heart, I really did, thats what made this so hard. We tried so many times to make things work but it never went right, guess fate had a different plan.

The tears spilled down my face as I once agian made eye contact with him. This was too hard. We just sat there for the last two hours talking about the few past years we spent together, it was all too painful. "So.." he whispered finally breaking the silence in the room, he was trying to hold back his tears, I could tell. "This is too hard john" I said looking down at the floor, not wanting to make eye contact anymore.

We were outside in the back, sitting on the porch, enjoying each others company. His arm safetly around me, making me feel like no one in the world could ever hurt me.
