Remus, Sirius, Peter, and James were sitting in James' room. It was the summer before their 5th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The sun was shining brilliantly through the open window. "I'm bored" whined Sirius for the umpteenth time that day. "So go entertain yourself." said Remus, without looking up from the book he was reading.
Suddenly, the door to James' room opened and a pale girl with curly brown hair came in. "Who are you?" asked James. "Wow, Harry really does look like you." Said the girl. "Who's Harry?" asked James. "You will find out soon enough James," responded the girl before turning to the three other boys. "Hello boys. My name is Kaya." Said the girl. I know that you are wondering why am I here." Each of the boys nodded. "How do we know that you're not a Death Eater?" asked Remus. "Well, first off, I don't have the dark mark" and to prove her point, she lifted her sleeve to show her mark-less forearm. "Second of all, I am from the future." This was met by a rather disbelieving silence. "And finally," continued Kaya, "I am from the United States". "That would explain your accent" said Sirius. "I have a book for you." Said Kaya, brandishing a book that read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
"Wait, how did you know my name?" asked James. "You are all fictional characters." Responded Kaya. All four boys exchanged glances, each thinking that this Kaya girl was clearly insane. "Well, if we're fictional characters, than how come you can talk to us?" asked Peter, who was nice enough to humour her. "SHUT UP PETTIGREW, YOU FILTHY TRAITOR" yelled Kaya. The Marauders starred at Kaya, each wondering where her outburst had come from. Kaya took a deep breath, before saying "I suppose that is a fair question, so I'll answer. I came here through the wonderful world of Fan Fiction!" "What's Fan fiction?" asked Sirius. "Something that is totally awesome that I will not explain to you" responded Kaya. "Now read." Ordered Kaya, handing the book to Remus. "Oh, by the way Remus, you're my favourite character after Luna, Sirius, you're my third. James, you're okay I guess, and Peter, I hate you. Cheerio." Said Kaya, leaving the room.
"So, should we read?" asked James. "I don't see why not." Said Remus. "Uggg, fine I'll read" said Sirius, not looking very happy about reading a book, but he was curious. The three turned to Peter, who still looked shocked but he nodded. "Okay than, I'll start" said Remus.
