Caring Chuck Bass
This is a cute one-shot I thought of a few days ago. I really don't know where I come up with these stories. But anyway, I hope you like it!
Chuck Bass had a very rough day. No one told him that it was easy to run a multinational company, but somehow he got it done. When he opened the door, everything was quiet. Chuck must have thought that Blair was still at NYU studying, he sat down his briefcase and walked to the bar to get a drink, when he heard what sounded like someone coughing. So he put his drink down on the bar, and walked to the sound of the coughing. When he opened the door to his bedroom, the sight broke his heart, Blair Waldorf, the love of his life, was laying in his bed, sick. He walked over to the bed quietly, because he wasn't sure if Blair was either awake or asleep.
When he got closer to the bed, Chuck noticed that Blair was asleep, but was easily awakened when Chuck laid down on the bed next to her.
"Chuck, what are you doing here?" Blair crocked out.
"Well, Blair, I live here." Chuck said with a smile on his face.
"Oh, yeah, that's right." Blair said as she sank her head back onto the pillow.
"What's wrong, Blair?" Chuck asked as a wrapped his arms around Blair.
"I'm sick, in case you can't see." Blair snapped back, even when she was sick, Blair could still have an attitude.
Chuck figured out that Blair had the flu, he decided to clean up a little bit, picking Blair's snotty tissues, getting her some Orange Juice, picking up dirty clothes. That way the room wouldn't look so bad. Then Chuck got undressed, put on some pajamas and got into bed next to Blair. He loved Blair too much to really worry about getting sick, to Chuck, that was a good thing about loving someone.
Blair slept well that night, Chuck on the other hand didn't. When he'd fall asleep, Blair would cough and that would wake Chuck up. Blair woke up, Chuck was the first thing she saw. Blair moved to Chuck's side of the bed, she was probably awake, but her eyes were still closed. To Chuck, she was the most beautiful thing in the world.
Blair's eyes fluttered open and stared at Chuck for the longest time before saying anything. "Chuck, I thought you had to go to work?" Blair said to Chuck, who was staring at her.
"I took the rest of the week off, Blair, You're the most important thing in my life." Chuck said to Blair as he gave her a kiss on the forehead.
Even though, Blair was sick, hearing Chuck Bass, the most notorious womanizer in history saying he loved her and was the most important thing in his life made Blair smile. She fell back asleep with the comfort of knowing Chuck would still be there.
Over the next few days, Blair began to get better, of course, that was because Chuck was the one who helped Blair get well. Apparently, Chuck Bass had the healing touch, he just never realized he did. Chuck & Blair both burned in the aspect of love by other people that meant well, but didn't. From their parents, friends, and other lovers in the past. But right now, they both had each other, and that was only thing that mattered to them.
