A/N: Sorry about the wait with One Too Many Lies, I'm just a bit stuck at the moment and then this jumped on me. This is the first romance i have ever written so please tell me if it is really bad. i'll try and update this more often, but would you guys like shorter chapters faster or a bit longer chapters, but more time between updates?
Disclaimer: I am a teenage girl, not a middle aged man, come on people!
The world will end in fire
Poseidon stormed down the streets of New York, mad at both of his brothers and the rest of his ridiculous family, the Winter Solstice always put him in a bad mood.
As he strode along the sidewalk he didn't see the flustered woman run out of the shop, carrying a myriad of bags.
She crashed straight into him, and fell backwards, dropping all of her shopping.
'Watch where –' he started to shout, before noticing the girl, for her youthful face was that of a child's not an adult's.
'Oh sorry, are you okay?'
'I'm…*sob*…fine, just give me a sec.'
'Here', he passed her a can that had rolled away in the confusion. 'I'm Poseidon.'
'Oh, like the Greek God?'
'Yes, rather like him.' Poseidon smiled.
'I'm Sally.'
'It's a pleasure to meet you, though the circumstances could have been better.'
'Yes, well, I have to get home now; I have to make my uncle tea.'
'Well then, see you around Miss Sally.'
Sally smiled. 'Bye'
