"KAMI-SAMA GOMEEEEEE!"
"BELL-KUN YOU BAKAAAAAA!"
Townsfolk stopped and watched as a certain deity chased a certain rabbit around the streets with a broom in hand, looking furious while the poor boy looked near tears.
"WHY WERE YOU OUT WITH THAT ADVISER OF YOURS?!"
"I-IT WASN'T A DATE, I SWEAR!"
"G-GODDESS HESTIA, BELL!" As if on cue Eina also came rushed over, looking worried. Though they had already raced ahead so chasing was no use.
Because of Bell's excellent escaping skills though, he had quickly managed to outrun his goddess in the flick of the wrist. Still, that didn't stop him from running.
If I go back she'll be waiting, if I return home she'll find me, i'll just have to hide away until she cools down! He skillfully jumped on the way and pushed against it, grabbing the other wall next to it and pushing himself up, before continuing to run. And the one place she USUALLY doesn't visit is…
He turned the corner and ran up the stairs, to the exact place where he and Ais Wallenstein trained. He let out a breath, leaning over and slumming against the wall while trying to catch his breath. "I should be… safe here!" He huffed, looking around. No one in sight, good.
Just then a yawn escape his lips without his control and he grimaced. Dammit. I've been training these past few nights and haven't gotten that much sleep. He sighed. But if I sleep at daytime everyone would notice and question me.
Then an idea came in mind, and he looked around again. He blinked, and thought over it. "... no one is around." He decided, inwardly wincing at that. "... guess a little nap won't hurt. Who will find me here anyways?"
As he lay against the wall, his eyes slowly fluttered close.
"Yes Riveria, i'm just going for a walk." Ais nodded, making sure to bring her sword. You know, in case someone decided to randomly attack the sword princess, though who in their right minds would do such a thing.
Riveria looked over her, and sighed. "Fine. But no training. You've done enough at the dungeon for today." She scolded, though was quickly taken by Lefiya was was asking her questions about some new spells.
Ais rolled her eyes and nodded, not waiting to reply as she turned and left. Where should i… go exactly? She thought, just literally realizing she had no destination whatsoever. She pouted cutely. Maybe… yeah, the view up there is beautiful.
She decided confidently, and walked around the corner, up the steps and to the place where she had trained the little rookie.
Though, she stopped noticing the mentioned boy there. Sleeping soundlessly against the wall, looking cute and defenseless with strands of hair falling over his eyes, with a small smile on his lips.
She tilted her head. "... Bell?"
He didn't budge. Yep, he was asleep. She carefully walked up to him and sat beside him on her knees, her hand rising to gently stroke his hair. She smiled fondly. "You must be very tired to be sleeping at a place like this."
Her answer was a slight tilt of head, resulting in other hair falling over his face. She pushed them away as well, and pouted. Then, an idea came in mind.
Gently hosting his body to a lying on the ground position, she laid his head gently on her lap as to not wake him up. He still slept, while she smiled victoriously at her success. "You always ran away or woke up screaming whenever i gave you a lap pillow, now i'll see how you escape." It was like she had a whole strategy planned.
Still no response from the peaceful boy. Smiling, she started to stroke his hair again. This is so soothing for some reason… it's like… my soul is being cleansed by his pureness.
Soon after that thought came in mind however, his eyes started to flutter open, a small groan accompanying. She didn't stop as his red eyes opened fully and slowly took in his surroundings.
"... am i dreaming?" She remembered him asking that before.
"No." She shook her head.
"... is this an illusion?" Again he asked sleepily. She shook her head again.
"No again."
A pause. Then he started to realize where he was, and started to blush a deep red. She readied himself, realizing what he was about to-
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH GOME AIS-SAAAAAAAAAN!" He sprinted on his feet and dashed off. She sat baffled, before pouting and also getting up.
"Bell wait!" This time she actually gave chase.
Again, the townsfolk stopped and watched as a certain screaming rabbit ran across the streets with a certain sword princess chasing after him to stop.
Sorry I just really wanted to do this XD
