It had been 4 years 11 months and 12 days since anyone had heard from her. No calls, no letters, nothing. They had never lost hope, but after almost five years, their resolve was wearing thin.

When a woman calmly rolls a three-child stroller into the office, people are understandable confused. Who was this mysterious woman? She didn't look familiar, though her straight brown hair and brown eyes could relate her to most anyone.

He was just getting off work. Getting ready to go home for another night wondering where his daughter was. Even her mother had been unable to find any trace of her these past five years, or so she still lead him to believe. He missed his daughter, even though her being missing had brought Irena and himself closer together, like her first disappearance.

She was hot and tired, and knew that even though the children were calm at the moment, that could quickly change. She was worried about her husband, but knew that the only way she could find him know was to try and get help from the people she thought she would never see again.

He sees her back, the hair hanging down. As he slowly walks towards her, his heart starts to race, and he can't help but hope. The other office personnel see the hope flare to life in his eyes, but know that he has been disappointed many times before. He has to know. "Sydney?"

She hears someone call out and spins around. Standing there, the same yet different. More wrinkles, more white hair mixed with the grey, yet still standing tall. She sees the hope in his eyes, and can't help but wonder what the past five years has done to him. She yearns to answers back, and she realizes that she can. "Daddy," and like a lost five year old, runs to the man she has not seen in five years, and who she missed dearly.

He can't believe that it's really her, he wraps his arms around her and holds her close. A cry startles them and she breaks away, turning back the way she had come from.

She hears Kadence cry out, and turns to comfort her. Picking up the tiny girl, just barely 18 months old, she once again turns, back towards her father. He was giving he a questioning look. "Dad, meet you granddaughter, Kadence Irena. Andrew Jonathan and Isabella Laura are the twins in the stroller."

Shock. The only work to describe my feelings. I was looking at three children, all with features of my daughter. But they also had features out someone else that I knew, and that apparently Sydney knew all too well. "Sydney, where have you been these past five years? And who the hell is their father?"

AN: hope you guys like it. Haven't written anything in a while and this just kind of leapt out. Please review. I will hopefully update soon.
