Okay, so... basicaly this is Joshua's talk with Ezekiel in the middle of book 4... since I'm writing "How A Simple Murmur Ruined His Life" (HASMRHL) I've had to do alot of research on book 4 and I realized that nobody has ever writen about when Josh talked with Ezekiel so... here we go.
Disclaimer: If I owned Charlie Bone I wouldn't be on fanfiction...
Joshua walked away from Manfred skipping a little and headed up into the west wing.
Joshua thought it a rather intruiging part of the house and it was where- so his mother had told him- quite a few magical happenings had happened.
Joshua went about the west wing until he got to the top, where he knocked on Mr. Ezekiel's door.
"Come in," screetched Mr. Ezekiel.
Joshua opened the door, came in and closed it.
"Sit, Joshua, sit," said Mr. Ezekiel with a smile.
So Joshua sat in the armchair that was across from him.
"Manfred, said you wanted to see me, sir..." mumbled Joshua.
"So I do, so I do, you know who Charlie Bone is?"
"Yes, sir,"
"Well, him and his friends are always messing with ideas. I found a way to turn people invisible and he took it, I found a way to send people through time and he ruined it, althouugh there are a few sensible endowed children, Charlie's friends are getting ahead of themselves."
Joshua was silent, he wasn't sure where this was going.
"How advanced is your endowment?"
"Very," said Joshua leaning forward.
"Ah, good, could you... could you control people with it?"
"Yes," said Joshua a smile growing on his small face.
"I want you to control Tancred Torrson and have him electrucute Emma Tolly's fingers because she transforms into birds and if her fingers are hurt than she can't fly."
Joshua grinned.
"I can do that, I can do that easily," he said.
"Good, you may go now,"
"Yes, sir," Joshua stood.
"By the way, could you send Dorcas Loom in? I need to speak with her."
"Yes, sir," and Joshua left, feeling pleases that his endowment was going to be put to use.
He found Dorcas and sent her off, then he headed to the strings room where Miss Chrystal was having a chat with Mrs. Dance.
"M-Miss Chrystal, may I talk to you... without anyone else?"
"Of course, Joshua."
"Do you know him?" asked Mrs. Dance with surprise.
"We met on my first day here," said Joshua with a grin. "She's my favorite teacher even if she isn't in my department!"
Mrs. Dance smiled and waltzed her way out.
Miss Chrystal's look hardened once the other woman was gone.
"Mum, I've picked what side I'm on, remember when you said I needed to choose?"
"And what side would that be?"
"Mr. Ezekiel's."
She smiled.
"Good choicem Joshie, very good choice,"
