"Soooo.. hey Robin. Are you ever gonna tell us how you got that scar?" Laris asked his roegadyn drinking companion.

"I'm sure it's a very interesting story. I need to know these things." Zaren added.

"War scars are so cool! Only some people can pull it off though.." Anna sighed.

"Okay! okay. settle down kids. I'll tell ya everythin' that I can remember." said Robin.

"It all happened 5 years ago, on what seemed like a usual day for me as a pirate ninja. I was on my ship, and about to pull into a marine headquarters for a sneak-in type mission. I pretended to be a famous marine so i could easily infiltrate the place. I came across a young man, but unfortunately I don't remember what he looked like or his name." Robin began.

"Ooh.. mysterious." Zaren smirked.

"Anyways, I used my fake title to my advantage and was able to get this marine guy talking. We seemed to hit it off very easily and then went to go have some drinks. At that point I almost forgot the actual reason why I was there." Robin laughed to herself.

"What was your mission?" Anna asked.

"To find out where my father was hiding." Robin replied as she slammed her mug of beer down on the table.

"Okay, so then the young one and myself decided to take things to a place where we could have.. y'know. privacy." said Robin.

"Of course! I got it! You got the scar from being too rowdy in the bedroom." Zaren blurted out.

"I didn't know you can hurt yourself from doing things like that!" Laris replied in fear.

"No! you've got it all wrong, haha!" Robin chuckled at both the boys.

"Aww, that's no fun." Zaren replied with a disappointed tone.

"Let's continue. So, the following morning I woke up alone. I searched for the young marine but he was nowhere to be found. He seemed to be the only person in that area that could possibly give me answers regarding my father's whereabouts. I tried talking to the other marines, but they all told me to bugger off because they were busy with work. So then I decided to leave and go back to my ship."

"Oi! Where do you think you're going, Robin Lockser?" The marine suddenly appeared behind me and somehow knew my real name.

"How do you know me?" I immediately blurted out, without turning to face him.

"My boss knows you. You could say, kinda like family." The young marine sneered.

"Tysen sent you, didn't he?" I asked him.

"That is correct. I am a part of his marine ninja clan. He wanted me to find you, and kill you for your betrayal!" The man screamed as he launched a dagger in my direction. At that very moment, I unfortunately chose to turn around and face him.. Seven hells. That really hurt." Robin sighed. "But at least I didn't loose the bloody eye."

"So Tysen is your father? Why did he want to kill you?" asked Laris.

"Because I didn't want to be a marine like my father. I was taught to fight like a ninja, but I wanted to be free. My dream was to explore the seas and fight people for treasure. The marine life just wasn't my thing. It felt like work." replied Robin.

"Did you kill that ninja guy?" Zaren asked.

"No. Immediately after he cut me, I used a special type of advanced smokescreen and ran for it. He was young, I felt as though he could easily fix his way of life if he had more time to live and think about what he's doing." Robin explained.

"So that means both him and Tysen are probably still out there.." Anna said as she tightly grasped the gun on her lap.

"I appreciate yer attitude Anna. Glad to know i've got a cute badass woman on my side!" Robin smiled.

"I'd prefer not to put my life on the line more than it already is everyday..." Laris cried.

"Tysen... where have I heard that name before.." Zaren thought to himself.
