A/N: Thanks to my Beta, MadMaxLaxBro.

I remember when I first met Jason in my mind, not how I really met him on the schoolbus.

I got out of my dad's car, ignoring his disapproving look. I looked up at the plaque like sign above the white building and tried to decipher it. The Wilderness School.

"Why am I here?" I asked, slightly cocking my head.

"You stole a car, Piper!" my dad exclaimed. I know what you're thinking, how can a teenage girl manage that. Well, I didn't steal it, the dealer gave it to me when I asked for one, then said I had stolen it from him.

I grabbed my suitcase and went inside. I talked with the receptionist and sat down on the bed in my school, a boarding school for delinquents.

Great, I thought. Just great.

When I headed down to breakfast the next morning a boy with brownish hair sat next to me.

"Hi, I'm Leo Valdez, what's your name?" he seemed like he'd downed a dozen pounds of coffee.

"Calm down," I told him rolling my eyes. I had ADHD and I had never been that hyperactive. "My name's Piper."

I didn't supply my last name as my father is a popular actor.

"What? No last name?" Valdez questioned.

I shrugged and then stood up, as I turned around I spilled the hot chocolate I'd been holding all over a boy that was an inch or two taller than me, with blonde hair and electric blue eyes.

"I am so sorry!" I shouted.

"No worries," he said shrugging. "Worse could happen."

"I'm really really sorry," I told him as I handed him a stack of napkins and reached over to help him wipe it off his shirt. I pulled my hand back quickly when I realized how awkward it would be for me to try to help him.

"Relax," he told me. "Trust me, I'm fine."

"Okay," I told him. "I'm Piper."

"Jason Grace," he supplied. "You seem really nice, what are you doing in a school for delinquents?"

"I could say the same for you, Jason."

"Seriously, what did you do?"

I mumbled my response.

"Didn't quite catch that."

"Sorry, I said I stole a car."

Jason looked like he had a response, but Valdez interrupted him before he began by shouting.

"You did what?"

Even though, none of that was real, it was still a memory I wanted to hang onto. I know that Annabeth hates Hera for taking Percy away from her for so long but I am thankful she brought Jason Grace to me.

A/N: This was for a challenge. Sorry if it was too fluffy. Hopefully that was in-character.

Thanks.
