*Hey Guys!First story on here and it might be a little rough... O.o Sorry if I don't get certain character traits right and all that junk. Plus, I'm so sorry that it's so short, if y'all like it than I swear it'll get longer with longer better chapters! ~With Love, Fangirl
Caroline sighed into her pillow. Tyler had told her his new girlfriend didn't like that they talked so he threw her out of his life like trash. Told her "How about you go find your Original boyfriend and bother him for once!" and laughed. She had screamed that she hadn't seen nor spoken to the hybrid in nearly 20 years, but Tyler just closed the door in her face. After crying for a while, Caroline whipped out her phone, searching through the contacts. The one name she hadn't even glanced at since she had graduated college. Over the years Elena had married Damon and they traveled the world, Stefan and Rebekah were dating and were somewhere in France, Bonnie and Jeremy lived in Washington D.C. with a large coven of witches and a baby on the way to accompany the other 2. No one has heard from Matt in a while, he joined the army and Caroline stayed in Mystic Falls with her mom. She died on duty last year. Everyone was gone. Even Tyler.
"Hello love, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Caroline's breath caught in a gasp. Tears collected in her eyes. Out of everyone but Tyler, this was the first voice from her past that she's heard in a very long time. "Caroline? Are you alright?" Klaus sounded more than concerned but Caroline couldn't quite place it.
"Yeah, um, I just," She breathed deeply in through her nose, making her sobs calm alittle but worsen when she spoke again. "I, can't... Everyone's gone and-an-an-" She gasped and stuttered.
Klaus' end went silent. "I'm coming to get you."
Caroline's eyes widened in shock. He was coming to get her? Like take her away from all she knows? "No, Klaus I just. I need to know that you were st-still there for me. That you hadn't left me like everyone else. My-my mom, she d-died. She really liked you, K-klaus." Caroline laughed and hiccuped lightly.
"Caroline, love. I'm so sorry. The Sheriff was a lovely woman by far." Another round of sobs rolled over Caroline's body, shaking her. "I'm coming to get you. Pack your stuff." And the line went quite.
