(Sesshomaru's pov)
The mute girl in my lap, opened her eyes slowly and looked up at me. 'Tensaiga why would you tell me to save this child's life?' i set her back down on the ground and stood, turning and walking away. He heard the girl get up and start running to follow after him, 'it was odd that she tried to help this Sesshomaru to begin with .. but now she is planning on following me?"
the girl still did not speak, but she still walked beside him. I stopped walking and looked at her, she minicked me and looked up at me with her big brown eyes and a smile. "why is it you do not speak onna?" the girl's smile disappeared and she looked down. i waited patiently for an answer but she did not answer me. "You will answer my lord Sesshomaru girl!" Jaken said, waving his staff of the skulls at her.
The girl lifted her head back up and opened her mouth about to speak but quietly shut it. "not speaking will cause problems girl." i stated then started walking again. the girl, Jaken and Ah Uh started walking with me.
it was well past sunset and the girl had yet to complain about anything, not even that we had been walking for several hours, 'if she is willing to not speak even when i can hear her stomach growl then she wont get anything until she voices she needs it.'
(rin's pov)
'i'm really hungry but i can't tell him..' her eyes suddenly widen, and she grabbed onto Sesshomaru's empty sleeve, tugged lightly and made a whimpering sound. The demon lord turned his head and looked down at her, 'tell him!' Rin told herself, "R-R-Rin..." she tried to start, "Rin needs food." his eyes widened slightly, surprised I had spoken. Then nodded telling me to go. I smiled and ran off, " I'll be very quick!"
i'm pretty sure this well just be a one-shot unless i think of other things that can happen when she first goes under Sesshomaru's care.
