AN: Hey. I was trying to write a poem about puppies for english when the plot bunnie hit me. The puppy poem sucked so I erased it all and wrote this instead. This is my first try at a poem and it hasn't been graded yet. Anywho, my freinds told me it was good but I don't trust them. They're not good betas. I swear I haven't ditched my other stories and will update them asap. REVIEW!

She stands at the door,

Wanting to be sure,

That there was hope, that she wasn't a dope.

She needs to believe that there is more than what people always say,

That life's lovely gifts are real.

What is love supposed to feel like if not painful?

Was it supposed to fulfill her?

All she wanted was to be rescued from the needles pricking her skin, her eyes, and her heart full of youthfulness.

She needed to feel, to fight the man causing her the misery.

The door opens revealing the man,

whose eyes are melted chocolate.

She starts to think to herself, 'Maybe love can'

Before her thought process is cut off by the passionate person.

When he pulls away, its like candy being taken away from a baby.

He leans down, their foreheads touching.

He kisses her gently again

Pulling away, he whispers "I knew you'd forgive me."
