Jameson woke up feeling very groggy, "Ugh… What time is it?" He said. He looked over and checked his clock. "12:16!? Already!?"
He quickly hopped out of bed and threw on some black shorts and a 8-Bit Black Fishfry tee-shirt. and went into the kitchen of his small, 2 bed 2 bath apartment.
He had been sharing it with his twin sister Alexis since they turned 18. Oh yeah… One other thing… They were both humanoid - squid hybrids known as Inklings… they lived close to Inkopolis, the largest city in the world.
"What the squid!?" He exclaimed as he saw the light blue mess in the kitchen, "ALEXIS!" "GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE!" he yelled. He heard the sound of a door opening and closing, then the sound of feet on the stairs that led up to the game room and Alexis' room. Alexis came into the kitchen looking tired, "What is it?" She mumbled. "Oh… that."
"What happened down here!?" He exclaimed, "Well… I was trying to make blue velvet cake but… as you can see it didn't go so well." Jameson sighed loudly, "It's okay Alex, just next time try to be more careful? Oh and i'll pick up a blue velvet cake mix today after my Squad Tourney." Alexis ran over and hugged her older brother, "Thanks James!" "You know i don't like you calling me that," He chuckled, and they went over to grab a mop, Luckily ink cleaned up easily.

Hello everyone! Sorry about the short chapter but this was mostly just an introduction to the story this is my first fanfiction so i hope you enjoy. Progress might be slow as i'm not a dropout and i'm working on about 6 projects simultaneously. Thanks for reading the first chapter.
