Choose!
InuYasha stood under the Tree of Ages, thinking. Kagome had run off last night after seeing him with Kikyo. He felt guilty so he was trying to figure it out.
Flashback
"InuYasha you have to choose, Kagome or Kikyo!" Miroku shouted.
"Which one!" Shippo joined in.
"Guys leave him alone he has to think about that kind of decision." Sango arrived to his rescue.
End of Flashback
He hated seeing Kagome upset but he didn't know how to break the news to either one of them. Kagome could sit him a thousand times and Kikyo could kill him, he weighed them imaginatively with his hands.
He sighed, This is going to be difficult. He looked up at the blood streaked sunset and then peered over in the direction of the Bone Eater's well. He sighed and turned away. He'd made his decision.

Kagome sobbed in her room, it had been two days since she'd seen InuYasha with Kikyo yet she couldn't bring herself to believe it. He chose her I know he did.
Then Sota walked in with a bowl of rice, "I thought you'd be hungry." he said offering her the bowl of rice. She thank him with a nod and stared down at the food.
"Sis I'm sorry about whatever happened, we're here for you, right Buyo?" he added casually. Kagome giggled, "Thanks, I just need to be alone right now." she said. He nodded, hugged her and walked out of her room, closing the door behind him.
Kagome looked out the window the at her neck, The shards! She put down the bowl and looked at them, then the food again.
"I'll bring them back tomorrow." she said eating the bowl of rice within minutes.

InuYasha walked up to the Bone Eater's well and sighed, Part one done, part two....WAM!!!!!!!!!! A blur of yellow sent the hanyou to the ground, then he realized it was Kagome's backpack!
"InuYasha?! I'm sorry!" she said hurriedly as she helped the dizzy hanyou up. He gulped, I have to tell her now. "Kagome I made a very hard decision last night, about you and Kikyo." he said. Kagome felt her eyes fill with tears.
"I get it you don't have to say anymore." she said and spun around hastily wiping away her tears. InuYasha sighed, She's making this way too hard. He grabbed her shoulders and spun her around.
"Will you stop blubbering and listen to me? I chose you! YOU! Because I love you not Kikyo!" he froze. Did I just say all that out loud?
Kagome, on the contrary, wrapped her arms around InuYasha's neck and pulled him into a passionate kiss. InuYasha stood there for a moment, dumbfounded, then returned and deepened the kiss.
Kagome's hand were tangled in his hair and she seemed to have melted onto him. She broke the kiss and leaned up against InuYasha and shivered.
He wrapped his arms around Kagome and gently lowered her to the ground with him. She sat in his lap curled up like a ball, absorbing all the affection he'd given her.
They looked up at each other and breathed one word, "Finally."
