Ben's Note of Sheer Awesome: Alright, just so you know, I might be returning to cartoon ships after this. These are fun, but its dang hard to do ships with real life actors. It's just… weird.

This one is Zuri/Stuart. I'm not quite sure about this one. I think I might do my version of the panic room. I'm not sure of I'll be able to do this effectively, but I'll give it my best go.

And lastly, the list item. This one bounced literally everywhere, but I think I settled on one. This item is literally the list item on the list (not the last one I'll be writing though). Its number 747: Out Cold. Yeah, I'm being given a bunch of crap things I have to work with. Yay.

Zuri never got why Stuart liked her.

She didn't until they got trapped alone in the panic room.

Zuri was complaining to Stuart about how it was all his fault. It was the normal routine. She would complain, he would relent, and they'd part ways until Stuart got annoying again. She thought it would be that way her whole life.

That's not what life had in mind.

This time, they got into this situation, but Stuart didn't know the way out. Zuri was so annoyed and angry, she grabbed the nearest thing (a stuffed bear) and threw it at his head. With a THUNK!, it had knocked Stuart out cold.

How Stuart was knocked out by a teddy bear was one of the few mysteries best left unsolved.

After she had knocked Stuart out, she felt a flood of emotions. At first, she felt embarrassed she knocked out Stuart. Then she felt fine, thinking Stuart had deserved it. Then… she felt bad. Then it began to hurt. And then… she felt as if she had hurt someone she deeply cared for.

Zuri hadn't realize how much she enjoyed Stuart's annoying quirks, how he did things for her, and how he kept trying even though she turned him down. She hadn't realized how enjoyable he was, and she started to realize that hurting Stuart so many times was a mistake.

Stuart was still out cold. Zuri looked at him carefully, stooped down next to him, and then lay down at his side. She pulled him close. "I'm sorry, Stuart," she said softly. "I didn't mean to hurt you. I guess… I just never found the right way to tell you that I cared. Instead I tried to push you away… it took me knocking you out to realize that… I love you Stuart."

She realized later that Stuart didn't hear her since he was out cold. She was ok with that. Maybe, one day, when he was conscious, she'd be able to tell him the same thing.

BN: This isn't the longest one ever. Heck, it might even be my shortest. But come on! When you have so little to work with, it's hard to come out with a decent one-shot. Plus, I think my brain is shot from all these one-shots I'm writing. Maybe I should slip back to TDASB, at least for a few days until I can get my brain working again.

Like? Hate? Meh? Let me know in a review. Or don't. Either works!
