So, this is my first chapter. I hope you enjoy it, and review it plenty. Have fun, and
Chapter 1: Night Fight
The silence is almost deafening.
Something scuttles up the wall of a building. Quickly. It is unnaturally big, with thin tendrils coming out of its back. It goes up, looks back, and then climbs over onto the top of the building.
Something black swings through the night. Its eyes are white, and end in spikes that curl upwards. It has a bizarre spider on its chest.
This is white too.
Something else is there too. It flies, hair madly swishing about as it soars around the building.
The chase goes on.
The creature scuttles across the roof and down into the shadows.
It climbs up the opposite wall.
The silent swinger flies over the roof and smashes into the symbiote.
Both tumble down. So does rubble and dust.
The dark flyer swoops into the alleyway. Energy crackles at its fingertips and it lets loose a pulsating beam of it, which narrowly misses the fighters, but momentarily illuminates them.
The thing is red and looks terrifying, with eyes that look like the swinger's but end in several small spikes. It opens its mouth and hisses. Rows of gleaming white teeth, some as long as daggers are exposed. Its long claws sink into the wall, attempting to slow its descent. The swinger sends a thin strand of white string flying up. It attaches itself to the building and it pulls the mysterious figure out of danger.
The symbiote is not so lucky. It crashes onto the floor with an audible crunch. It hisses again and attempts escape. This time the flare of energy that flies from the flyer's hands illuminates its face too, revealing a stoic though attractive face. The woman wears a mask that hides her eyes. Her blonde hair is billowing out behind her like a sail. The energy hits its target, and the creature's screech of agony sounds like metal is being torn apart. It is lifted off of its feet and smashes into a skip. Both heroes land on the floor.
"Nice work." the woman's voice is quite deep, and sounds tough.
"Sure was." the swinger's voice is that of a man.
"Shall we take him in, Spidey?"
"Sure thing, Carol."
And with that, Ms. Marvel firmly grabs Spider-Man's hand in her left, tucks Carnage under her right arm, and takes off into the skies.
