This is my take on Divergent.
Backstory: Tris got in a coma. Everything in Divergent and Insurgent was in her dreams during her goes to a new high school and sees Tobias the man of her dreams. Literally.
Divergent
"Wh-what happened?" Beatrice stutters confused " I thought you were dead," she looks at Mother and Father, " and weren't you a traitor?" she sees Caleb. "She must have been wounded badly," Natalie Prior, her mom states to a doctor, "Beatrice sweetie, you just jumped off a building. I know it sounds horrible. What was the last thing you remember?" Natalie finishes. "Well, I was with a very tall, young, dark-skinned girl. I think she was my friend, but I don't remember her name. I'm pretty sure, we were ziplining.."she says softly.. "Okay Beatrice, we are going home. Tomorrow, you will be attending a new high school. Dauntless High.."Andrew Prior, her dad assures.
Beatrice wakes up in a bedroom she can barely remember. A gray bed spread. No mirror, a table and land. Lastly, a wardrobe, full of gray outfits. Beatrice never understood the gray. It was her favorite color. She needed a change. "Woah!" Beatrice screams. Caleb had so sneakily walked in like a snake. "We are leaving in an hour, be ready for school." he leaves. Beatrice pulls over a gray shirt and jeans and brushes her teeth. As usual, her breakfast is bacon, eggs and water. "I'm ready." She tells Caleb.
As Beatrice and Caleb walk along a cracked, tainted road, they look for the bus top. A large blue bus slowly stops in front of them. When they climb on, everyone sees Beatrice. "Hahah! She was a stiff! A cold, dead, coma stiff!" A boy with the most adorable but mean face laughs. Beatrice sees a seat next to a quiet girl and sits. "Hi!" the not-so-quiet-anymore girl says. "I'm Christina! What is your name?" "Remember CHANGE"Beatrice thinks. "Tris." Tris says. For the rest of the ride the two girls chatter about boys they used to know. Also, about their new school and how they are so excited. They do not know what is coming for them.
