After waiting about a minute for the light to turn green, it did, and I accelerated my black Mercedes Benz. I heard the beeps of the bystanders around me and honked back at them. So I just kept driving so this would not be a confrontation. When I got to my home, I noticed all the lights were off which was not usual because my boyfriend was usually home by now. I went inside and turned the living room light on. Then I saw a note on the table in the living room which read…

"Bella, I went to the grocers to get some things, but I will be back soon. Bye, love you, Edward."

I read the note and remembered how sweet he always was. I had an instant smile on my face. I would never feel melancholy around him. To me he was my vital need. Lost in my own thoughts I did not hear the door open or close or the groceries plop softly on the ground. Then I jumped a little when a pair of very familiar arms wrapped around my torso and whispered in my ear. It made me feel puny when his big arms wrapped around me.

"Hey beautiful," I always loved when he said that.

"Hey handsome," I could feel his smile against my neck.

"I was wondering if you wanted to order in tonight, maybe Chinese," he suggested.

I agreed with a head nod and a smile. So he led me to the kitchen and picked up the phone to dial while I circled what we always got on the paper. I told him that I was going to take a shower. So I undressed and hopped in the warmth of the beating shower. I was soon finished and dressed with blow dried hair. Just as I came out, the take-out was here. I saw Edward smile at me and then I ran to the kitchen without floundering to get plates ready.

We were seated on the couch with our food and some movie popped in.

"Thank you," I was confused for a moment.

"For what?" I was still pondering on what he was going to say.

"For just being you, your wonderful happy and joyous self." I blushed under his comment. Then he put his food on the table and so did I. Then he was in front of me with one knee on the ground.

"Since I love being with you, would you Isabella Marie Swan be mine and always be mine. Will you give me the honor of being Isabella Marie Cullen." He then pulled out a small black box and opened it. I gasped at the ring in front of me. To me it looked about 15 karats and was shining in the light of this room.

"Yes, Edward, yes, of course, I'll marry you," I could not stifle the tears I had in my eyes. He jumped up and we hugged each other. He slid the ring on to my left hand and we kissed. This was the most perfect night of my life.
