Chapter1: awaking the flame
She had been asleep for a very long time. When she woke up it was very quiet. No brothers rambling about or her sisters screaming. Neither were her parents yelling at each other at the top of their throats. Rubbing her eyes she sat up in her bed, "Mom? Dad? Nikkya, Shayla, Shontae? Brandon, Carlos, Dayshon?" she quietly called out but there was no reply from anyone. She got out of her bed and walked to the phone, picked up the receiver and dialed 898-006-7657. "Hello?" she said "hi Zora!" " hey kiki, have you seen my family?" "No can't say that I have sorry" "thanks anyway" she hung up the phone. Then Zora walked downstairs to find someone was sitting at her table.
"Who the hell are you!" Zora demanded. The person smiled sweetly and looked at her "I'm sorry please forgive my rudeness" he smiled "I am yoho kazomo. You must be Zora!" he replied. "what right have you in my home kazomo!" "I'm here for you, so you can come to where you belong." "but I belong here. AND WHO ARE YOU TO TELL ME WHERE I CAN OR CANNOT BELONG!" she yelled. "Heh, Hardheaded and stubborn just like your mother." Kazomo snickered. "don't you DARE talk about my mom that way!" " I see you aren't a morning person then" " YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S BREAKING AN ENTRY! Telling me you've come to take me." "do you know where your family is? Or why they disappeared? Or maybe why you have these little flashback dreams?" " you know about all of those things going on about me? How? Who are you?" "yes I know a lot. I've been here with you everyday, not in this cat demon form though, and I say again I am kazomo." "what is your other form then?" "my other form?" he changed "takanaki kai!" she exclaimed. " ah. Yes that's right takanaki kai." "Wow, you do know me" Zora blushed thinking 'I can't believe it; I actually liked him so much' "so what are ya here for kazomo?" " to take you back. How many times must I repeat myself?" "I know but why and where?" "Why. Because your family is in danger and something else but I'll tell you that later, where? Somewhere someplace." He smirked. "how do you know all this?" " I've been around. Are you read to leave?" he asked "no but I'll be ready in a few" Zora ran upstairs and called her friend "hello" "whats up Zora?" "hurry and come over satsu, takanaki kai is here" "you mean the super hot dude kai?" "yea!" "I'm on my way" she hung up and walked to her bedroom. "hm what to pack" she packed light: a book, brush, pillow, sheet, cell phone, and her picture of the family. Then the door bell rang. " it had to be satsu." She ran downstairs with her bag. "I'll get it" she said opening the door. "Is he here?" said satsu "yea come in" Zora showed her into the house "OMG YOU HAVE A DEMON IN HERE!" screamed her friend. "What the hell Zora?" "uhhh" Kazomo changed into kai quickly "hello ms. Satsu" satsu nearly fainted. "I'm so sorry kai! I called her cuz she's the only thing I have left with mom and my sisters gone. She's been there ever since I was 5" "its ok Zora. I understand. Wow" he put his hand to satsu's neck " we may need to take her before her family disappears" he picked up satsu and threw her over his shoulder. "come on. We have a very long way to travel and such little time."
