Oi. It's me, Min. I've been quite a bit lazy in updating, huh? Well, TAKS Test has been up (An end of the year exam-ness) and I haven't had a lot of time. But trust me. I update all of my stories eventually. Well, this plot bunny was absolutely BEGGING to be used, so here. And Stuff. Disclaimer: I don't own Vocaloid. Seriously, why would I? Oh, and I don't own the book, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" either. Thank You! 3
Do Vocaloids Dream of Whole Notes?
In a post-apocalyptic world, in the year 2069, mankind is slowly deceasing - one by one, because of the World War Terminal. Explosions dotted the planet, leaving craters the size of eight school buses combined. Volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes left Earth a barren wasteland. Of course despite this, there are some places to live. Humans are still crowded in small rural areas. Yes - not just humans and animal species inhabit the Earth. There's another species - Vocaloids.
Vocaloids were once a thriving race of androids indeed. As the highest class of machines ever made, they had emotions, too. A scientist on the brink of insanity had taken decades to launch project "KOKORO" or in other words, a heart and emotions for the Vocaloids. Vocaloids were originally used for simple tasks such as child sitting and going to the grocery store, although their sole purpose is singing. Unfortunately, this lasted for an estimated sixteen years. A malfunction occurred in the factory they were being created in, resulting in making them killing machines. There are few theories to these happenings: There's one where one worker was secretly tweaking their KOKORO by taking out their positive emotions. Another is that there is a virus from the bomb radiation that infected them and made them simply snap. Despite this, some Vocaloids remained civilized and calm against the massive outbreak.
Leaders of the world conversed about this pandemonium, and came to a conclusion - they are sending the Vocaloids to Pluto.
"It will preserve mankind," the Prime Minister of Malaysia said.
Two years have passed since that statement, although it has been confirmed that eleven Vocaloids could not take the isolation of Pluto and fled to Earth.
And to this day, Meiko Sakine is tracking them down.
Done! Well, this came out decently. Kokoro reference, eh? Remember to review and add. Aw, you know you want to… Bye guys! See you next chapter!
