I Have No More To Say.
"Stay awake! Please!"
He was so tired.
"Please Father, stay awake!"
It had been such a long day.
"Not tonight, stay awake for just one hour more. They will come otherwise!"
He slumped down on the bed in his quarters, pulled off his boots, and pulled the covers over himself, he could still here the Fearlings, Nightmare Men, and Dream Pirates in the prison, despite the soundproofing he had ordered after the first month here.
"Pleaseā¦"
He closed his eyes, letting himself imagine he could hear his beloved daughter, Emily Jane. She was begging him not to sleep, for some reason. He almost chuckled at his subconscious, before rolling over and sleeping.
The Fearlings then reached out, haunted his dreams so he was unsettled nearly to the point of insanity, then pulled back, making him forget the dreams as they did.
The next day, he opened the door at the sound of his daughters voice.
The Destruction of the Golden Age was next.
Kosmotis never said a word after he told the voice of his daughter he was coming, not until Pitch was there.
A/N: Holy $#!%, where did this come from! Well, now I know what happens when I listen to Ready, Aim, Fire!, Everybody Wants to Rule the Word, Biting Down, Fireflies, Bleeding Out, and Kiss It All Better one after another. Since I skipped the disclaimer at the top I'll put here, I own nothing, just copies of all the current books minus the picture books, a copy of the movie, and my own belief. This is suppose to be Kosmotis' subconscious trying to stop him from opening the door, because he can sense that something is about to happen, but he's just brushing it off as being tired. For my "A Winters Night" readers, so, so sorry I am so late, I had writers block about midway through, but I think I've beat it now, we'll see. I'll update as soon as possible, promise.
Also, for all Bedtime Stories shippers, try this story, The Ugly Doll, for a Christmas style story. The writer, influenceONchildren, is awesome, we got to talking when I followed the story, and they did not ask me to promote her story, I did it as a sort of present for them. Sayonara, and thanks for reading, SerenaYoru.
