She was sitting by his hospital bed, crying. His hand in hers, she really really loved him.
She didn't want to believe that he was gone, she just needed one reasonto believe that he was still alive.
She hated the person who did this to him. But why him, why him of all people, she wondered.

Horatio, Ryan, Alexx, Frank and even Calleigh tried to get het to eat or drink something but she refused to move away from his bed, she didn't want to leave him alone.

They probably thought that she was crazy, but she didn't care. He was dead but she coudn't leave his side.
After awile they gave up on it and let her sit there. She thought she scould hear him but she was only imagening. She wanted to hear is voice, so badly, just one more time.

She was still sitting there when the doctor came to tahe him away but she woudn't let him. The little time that they were together they didn't have the chance to say 'I love you' to each other but that's all she wanted to say to him, to let him know she always loved him. She wanted to know if he felt the same way about her but now she would never find out.

Horatio came in again and tried to get hor to let go. She struggled at first but then she gave up, it was pointless.
Eric was never coming back and she knew it, she just didn't want to give up hope. She let go of Erics hand and stood up. She kissed his forhead and let a couple of teardrops fall on his face. As Hoatio led her out of the room she turned and whispered softly I love you, Eric. I always have and I always will´´ then she closed the door and fell to the floor.
But little did she know, Eric saw and heard everyhing and and whispered it back to her. Then he walked in to the light to his waiting sister.
