Frodo Dreams No More~
There is no waking,
Your longed-and-looked for hope,
Is only an illusion,...
~You've walked too far,
Were you not warned?
The danger of schooling your feet,
In the way of the road?
This is a dream you seek,
White shores, and beyond...
You've only walked here in your sleep...
~You've wandered much too far,
To go on living the same old life,
You have not been yourself, your own,
For too long it has claimed you,
Even the voice that speaks your doubt,
That mutters like wind through the bars,
Of the old cage, reminds you,
Your mind is opened to the reading,
Of a single Eye of fire,
You are encircled by a wheel of flame,
You cannot escape,...
~Hearken!, do you hear the wind?
And do you see the ocean?
The sea opens her hand,
And bids you come,
The ships are like swans on the water,
And the wind rises in rapture,
You draw in new made air,
You awake,
~The chains pass away like mist,
The old burden is gone,
The wind rises from twilight,
Like the ghost of the sun,
Like morning's last exhale,
~The sea calls to the shore,
And there is no fear in dying now,
For only release awaits,
And life is made so much more worth living,
Because it ends,
~But now Grey Ships bid you come,
And say your last farewell,
Dying is beautiful , as living is,
For dying brings the Change...
~And now there is no pain,
The sea has called you home,
You take one last breath,
And one last step,
~You did what you could with the time you were given,
I say, that you did well,
And your slumber was Great Darkness
But now your eyes are open,
Frodo dreams no more...
