Overlord E: Hey everyone, I have a new one-shot story of Steven Universe.
Dark 64: It's a gem that I thought of that might not exist or haven't appeared in the series.
Overlord E: I looked in Fanfiction that the idea of the gem and he's name was original but some thought of it and we decided to use a different gem.
Dark 64: We hope we've creative an original and hope no one uses him without our permission.
Overlord E: Anyway… We don't own Steven Universe, the show belongs to Rebecca Sugar and CN but the OC Gem and monster belongs to us.
Dark 64: Oh and before we forget the poll for the story book chapter as ended; only by one vote which we hope for more, we decided to create both chapters but we learn that the poll only works for people with a profile. I personal think they should let people with no fanfic accounts vote on polls.
Overlord E: A story book version of the Gardevior Princess and A Gardevior Princess story in Maverick's version, it will take months or weeks. So be patient and enjoy this one-shot story.
Dark 64: The title in on the story and we hope it's a great title.

It's was a glorious morning in Beach City and Steven and Connie were riding Lion "Amethyst was made by bad Gems?" "Yeah but thanks to my mom, Garnet and Pearl saving her; she's with us." Connie was still imaging about bad gems making gems sound impossible but Lion stopped all of a sudden, sending Steven flying "WHOA! Oof!"Steven was sliding on the water and sand on his face. He pushed himself up "Lion, why did you… stop?" He notice a pair of feet and looked to see a light blue teenager in bear feet which shown some scratches and harden mud, wearing a raggedy long pants, a raggedy hoodie with huge wild violet hair with his arms spread out and his eyes closed. "Uh… hi there? I'm Steven, this is Connie and that's Lion (He got up) are you ok?"

"The soul is endless
it continues to grow and grow
with nothing to contain it.
There is no good, there is no evil within it
but the one who controls it decides it fate.

Steven was confused and stared at him; Lion stared at Steven while Connie was amazed with stars in her eyes "That was an amazing poem! Did you think of that yourself?" He opened his eyes and turned his head towards them to reveal an eyepatch on his right eye "No, it appeared in my head and want to be heard." Steven was surprise "Whoa… are you a pirate?" "A pirate? Uh… no but what's a pirate?" he asked. They stared at him and Steven snickered at his question "You're funny dude. So anyway, what's your name?" He looked at him and tilted his head "Uh… my name? Oh… I remember now, its Tanzanite." "Tanzanite? That a strange name." said Connie but quickly covered her mouth "Oh! Not to sound rude about your name!" Tanzanite looked at the sky "Its ok, I don't know about mostly about anything since I walked to this place." "Whoa… where did you come from?" He looked unsure "I don't know what's it called but it was place of rocks with holes and some big metal things." Steven tried to put some thought into what he said but he'll remember it later "Do you want meet Lion?" "Who's Lion?" Steven pointed at that's Lion "That's Lion." "Oh… (He walked towards Lion) nice to meet you Li…" Lion then growled at him and he growled back which surprise Steven "Lion, that's very mean of you. You don't growl at people who want to know you." "Wait… he wasn't saying hello." Connie was a little nervous around him "Uh… Tanzanite, how long you're gonna stay here, your parents must be worried about you." He looked at Connie "Parents? What are parents?" Connie and Steven were surprised and confused "Wwwwhhhhhaaaaaaat?" Lion yawned and went back home while glaring back at Tanzanite.

Tanzanite followed Steven and Connie through Beach City asking him questions about some things to help his memory "Do you remember your dad?" "What's a dad?" "Do you remember your mom?" "What's a mom?" "Uh… do you know television?" "Oh yes I know television, how else am I gonna see Dogcopter movie or Under the Knife series? I even saw its mid-season pre-finale but I will not give spoilers to anyone." Steven and Connie sighed in relief "Thank you Tanzanite. So you want some donuts?" "Uh…?" "You don't know donuts?!" "I don't think I ever had one." Steven grabbed his arm and dragged him to the Big Donut while Connie catches up to him. Tanzanite was brought in to the Big Donut and saw the wonders inside it the case in front of him as he pressed his face on the glass "Are all of these donuts?" Tanzanite asked as a Sadie walked in behind of him "Uh… yeah they are. Hi Steven hi Connie. Who's your friend? Is he new?" He turned to see Sadie "Hello." "Hi are you a friend of Steven?" "Yes, (He looked at her) my name is Tanzanite, are you Steven and Connie's friend?" "Uh… yeah, I'm Sadie and the one who's sleeping behind the Lars." He looked up and saw Lars sleeping on the job "Hello Sadie, I would like to purchase a donut from the Big Donut." "Sure. What kind?" "Uh… What kind you have?" "Lot of kind." "Hmm… Ok… I would like that donut." He pointed to a triple chocolate donut "Good choice, Tanzanite." He looked confused "Why?" "It's the last one." He looked surprised and shock "IT'S THE LAST ONE IN THE WORLD!? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He screamed so loud it woke up Lars and he fell down and knocked a bottle of water on him. "No, no it's the last one we have. We'll have more tomorrow." He looked at Sadie and sighed in relief "Oh thank the traveling hobos who told me there is never-ending happiness." They heard Lars groan in pain as he got up soaking wet "Grrr… Steven! Why when I wake up it involves…" He saw Tanzanite and nearly blushed "Uh… Who are you?" "I'm Tanzanite, Steven's Connie's and Sadie's friend." "Oh… do you want to be my friend?" Tanzanite smiled "Sure." Sadie was getting ticked off by Lars hitting on Tanzanite but decided to figure something out "Hey Tanzanite, are you a boy or a girl?" They looked at Sadie while Tanzanite tilted his head in confusion "A boy why?" Lars was shocked and grossed out "WHAT?! You're a guy?!" Tanzanite nodded "Why are you angry? Are you a girl?" Sadie, Connie and Steven were holding back their laughter but Lars was steamed "I'm outta here!" He marched out of the Big Donut.

"Did I say something wrong?" "No… Lars just take a joke much." "Oh… What was the joke?" Sadie laugh at what Tanzanite said "You hilarious, here have this on the house." She gave Tanzanite his donut "The donut was on a house?" "No dude, it's free." "Oh…" He looked at it and saw some posters of people eating them. He slowly takes a bite of it and his eye nearly popped out "Whoa… it's delicious!" He quickly ate the whole thing as he had a Black Hole in his pupil. "Whoa… I'd never seen someone eating a donut with excitement before. It's like you're eating your first one." Tanzanite nodded quickly "It is my first one." Sadie was surprised and remember something important "Oh yeah, Steven I think your dad dropped one of his CD while he visited the Mayor." Sadie went back to the donut storage and came out with a CD case. "Oh yeah, my dad told me he drove in a hurry with the mayor he nearly forgot to close his van door." Tanzanite grabbed from Sadie and looked at it "Hmm… "Mr. Universe Let me drive my van (into your heart)" He looked at Steven "It too bad we don't have CD player to play it." He looked at Steven "CD player?" "Sorry Steven but hey you can…"

They looked to see Tanzanite playing the CD with a violet and blue portable CD player and grooving to the rhythm.

Tanzanite just stared at the CD "That… was… AMAZING!" He gave a huge grin to Steven "Your dad is an amazing singer!" Steven was excited until Amethyst came in "Hey Steven!" "Amethyst!" Tanzanite saw her and tilted his head "We got a go; there's a problem with a Gem in a jungle." Steven looked a little sad "Oh ok, sorry guys. I gotta go." Steven left with Amethyst but Tanzanite was confused "Hey Connie, Who was that? Was she Steven's Sister?" Connie laughed a little "No Tanzanite. That's Amethyst; one of the Crystal Gems." Tanzanite looked at her "Crystal Gems?" "Yeah they're a group of people who fight monsters around the world." "Crystal Gems? Why does that sound familiar?" Connie wanders what he's trying to remember but remember her parents "Oh my goodness, I gotta go! Bye Tanzanite." Connie left as Tanzanite just stood there "Uh… Tanzanite? Are you ok?" Tanzanite closed his eye "Where does Rose Quartz live?" Sadie was confused "Rose Quartz? Wait… that's Steven's mom!" Tanzanite opened his eye "Rose is Steven's mother?" "Uh… yeah well… I saw a video with Steven that his mom talk on how she loves him and have him take care of his dad and the Crystal Gems. Wait do you know her?" Tanzanite touched his forehead "No… but I keep hearing a voice that said "Find Rose Quartz" whenever I sleep." Sadie was worried about him and got an idea "Hey, how about you go to Steven house before he leaves." "Tanzanite looked at Sadie "Hmmm… that's sounds like a great idea! But where does he live?" Sadie grabbed his hand, pulled him near the windows and pointed to a house with a giant stone lady with 4 arms above it "Right there." He stared at it and hugged Sadie "Thanks Sadie." Sadie blushed and hugged him back "No problem." He waved goodbye as Sadie headed back to work.

Tanzanite walked near Steven's home; he walked up the stairs, and accidentally ripped the door from its hinges "Oops." "Hey what are you doing?" He turned to see a man who's bald on the top of his head with long hair. He squint his eyes at him and knew who he is "Wait… I know you!" He looked confused "You do?" "Let me drive my van into your heart, Let me drive my van into your heart." Greg was surprised to hear someone other than Steven and Rose to like his song "Wait… how do you know my song and me?" "Steven told me about you and I need your help to find… uh… who was I finding again?" Tanzanite manages to lose his train of memory "I think it involves a lady?" "Uh… I think you should leave please." Tanzanite wanted to leave but remember something important "Wait! I need to talk to Steven about… uh… those Crystal Gems friends of his." Greg was nervous "Please don't tell me you're another Gem like the one who stole the ocean." He looked at him "Another Gem?" He closed his eye "I want to know if they know the voice in my head and why it wants me to find Rose Quartz? Wait… what did I said?" Greg was surprised by him that he knows Rose. "Uh… ok I can trust you if you don't hurt the Gems or the rest of my hair." He stared at him "O.K. but why would I want to hurt your hair?" He brought him in the house and Tanzanite was amazed by it "Wow… it's so cool." Tanzanite looked around the whole house and saw Lion sleeping "Hi Lion." Lion didn't say anything but Greg stopped him "Uh… let him sleep uh… What is your name?" "Tanzanite, Steven, Connie and Sadie's friend." "Oh… really?" He nodded saw the warp pad "What's this thingy?" Greg saw it and turned away from it "Oh that's the Warp Pad that only the Gems can use. It won't work and we have to stay away from it." He got on it "How to they use it?" "I think they think of the place they're going and only the Gems can use…" A bright flash covered the whole room and Greg turned around to see Tanzanite was gone. "Oh man… I knew I shouldn't come in here."

Tanzanite reappeared on the Warp Pad "Only the Gems can use… what?" He turned around to see trees, dirt and mud "Greg?" He looked around to see nothing but trees "Where am I?" He got off of the Warp pad and started to wander the jungle "(groan) it's just like before. (Sigh)" He walked the dirt path and notices some footprints in front of him "Huh? I wonder if these are Steven's." He followed the tracks and kept going without stopping; pasting leopards, jumping over tar pits and climbing a waterfall. He made it to an open plain field with a small pond and saw Steven with a skinny lady talking to him. "Steven!" Steven was surprised to see him but the lady saw him as an enemy and pulled a spear from her forehead. "Pearl, wait! He's my friend!" Tanzanite ran towards them "Steven! Where am I?" "You're in the jungle where we're finding a gem." "Gem? Isn't… uh… is she your sister?" "No young man, my name is Pearl and how did you got here?" He started at her and tilted his head "Uh… the warp thingy I think and is that a wart on your forehead?" Pearl was offended "No it is not a wart! It's my gem and furthermore… wait; HOW DID YOU USE THE WARP PAD?!" She yelled at him "I don't know but I didn't know that giant snakes live here?" They turned around to see a three-headed hydra with red, blue and purple diamond-shape stones on each of their necks. "Uh-oh." "STEVEN! Get your friend to safety!" Steven dragged Tanzanite out of the way as Pearl fended it off with her spear. Tanzanite looked back and witness the battle as two other girls appeared; He knows Amethyst but the tall one is new to him "Who's the one with the big gloves?" "That's Garnet!" He looked at Steven "Garnet? Amethyst? Pearl?" he closed his eye as his head started to hurt "(GROAN)!" Tanzanite fell on his knees and Steven grabbed him before he fell down "Are you ok?" "My head… why are these memories in my head? Are they mine or someone else?" Steven started to worried about him but the ground below him started to quake. "Huh?" The ground started to form a hill as one of the Hydra heads popped out and unleashed a sound breaking roar "AAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Tanzanite looked up as Steven pushed him out of the way as the Hydra got him by his shirt with its teeth. "STEVEN!" The gems screamed but Tanzanite was confused "Steven! Why did you save me?" "Because Gems protect people!" Steven screamed as the Hydra swallows him whole. "STEVEN!" Tanzanite stared as the Hydra head charged at him as time slowed down (Gems protect people. Gems protect people. If they protect people, then I'm…") The Hydra head swallows him as well "NO!" screamed Pearl. As the Hydra heads prepare to eat the rest of the Gems; one of the heads had a huge sword with small teeth around it coming out of it neck, it acted like a chain saw and around the neck as Tanzanite come out with Steven on his back. Tanzanite landed in front of the Gem as the Hydra head explode, he looked at the rest of the Hydra heads "I remember… I know who I am." Steven woke up to see he was alive and out of the Hydra "What just happen?" "I happen." He was he was on Tanzanite's back holding a huge sword with one hand "Whoa…" Pearl got Steven off of Tanzanite's back "I now remember what I am." He grabbed eyepatch and removed it to reveal his right eye was a blueish-purple eyeball gem with a pupil in it "I'm a Gem and you will pay for eating my friend Steven!"

Tanzanite raised his sword and charged at the remaining Hydra heads; the two heads unleashed scalding energy water at Tanzanite "Energy Bubble!" His Sword vanished as blue bubble surrounded him protecting him from the Hydras' attacks "Chainsaw-Claymore!" The bubble vanished and his sword reappeared while it's roaring in rage. "Meet death!" He threw it at one of the heads as the claymore slice the head in half. (Author's note: I know it sounds PG-13 but if you remember Adventure Time; there were guts and blood the show but it made it interesting.) "Awesome." Said Amethyst but Pearl was disgusted as she covered Steven's eyes "No it is not awesome, Amethyst. He… uh she… it's a Gem and it could be corrupted like the others or from the Home world!" "But Tanzanite said he doesn't remember anything except a place with rocks and big metal things and he's my friend." Reply Steven. "Tanzanite? A place with big metal… Oh no!" "What's wrong?" ask Amethyst annoyed "He's from Kindergarten." She said it with fear. Steven was surprise and confused "Wwhhhhhhaaaaaaaatttttt?" "We have to destroy…" "Wait." They looked at Garnet "He's different from the Tanzanite that Rose and I know." She said with a calm tone "What do you mean… wait you know Tanzanite?!" "Let us see if this Tanzanite is different." Steven was worried but he trust Garnet as much as his friends "Let's trust Garnet, please." Pearl looked at Steven and just groans "OK but if he attacks us out of rage, we are bubbling his gem." Tanzanite was dodging the remaining Hydra head attacks until its energy blast but cause a flying rock to hit him in the head but it didn't knock him out "Big Cookie Cat Bomb!" He had a huge bomb in shape of a Cookie Cat with a fuse going "See the tasty cookie?" He was waving it above his eye as the Hydra was hypnotized by it "Eat it!" Tanzanite tossed it in the air and the Hydra ate it "Run for the hills!" Tanzanite ran away as the last Hydra head explode, the shockwave send Tanzanite flying and landing in front of them. "Tanzanite!" Steven helped him up "Are you ok?" "Emosewa saw taht …hu." "Huh?" Tanzanite looked at Steven revealing that his gem was cracking "Nevets dneirf tseb ym er'uoy!" "Ah, ah we have to help him!" He looked at Pearl "Lraep, traw a meg ruoy gnillac rof yrros." He started to act wonky as his legs turned into a long snake tail and his hands became lobster claws "Thgir, thgir t'nsi siht?" "Huh… This happen to me, right?" "Please, can we take him to my mom's spring?" Steven asked Garnet with a hopeful look "He earned my trust." Said Garnet. "EXCUSE ME!?" "Garnet (Steven hugged her leg) thank you." "Ha-ha-ha! Once again you got…" Before Amethyst could finish; the snake tail wrapped around her and alligator jaws appeared on Tanzanite's mouth as he chomped on Amethyst "Rrrrrrrrrg" "Ahhh! Get him off of me!" Amethyst was rolling around, screaming in pain while Pearl snickered "OK… he earned my trust."

Everything went dark but a pink light appeared as Tanzanite opened his eyes ("Huh… why is everything pink? And why can't I breathe?") He rushed up and he gasped for air; he looked around to see a statue of a woman crying and saw he was in a fountain with Steven "Uh… am I in a bath fountain because I already had one ten weeks." "I already can tell." He looked up and saw the Gems "Where am I?" "You're in Rose's Healing Spring." Said Garnet "We brought you here as you were eating my head all the way!" yelled Amethyst with teeth marks on her forehead. "I did?" asked Tanzanite "Yes but you were confused and hurt." Said Pearl. "OK… but who's that?" He pointed at the statue. "That's my mom." Said Steven with a glee of happiness "So… that's Rose Quartz huh." The Gem saw his personally change and summoned their weapons. "I got one thing for her." Steven was worried since he's acting like a bad gem. He put his hands in his wild hair and pulled out a letter in a bubble "Here's for Rose." He gave it to Steven "I was to give it to your mom but since you're her son. I think you can give it to her." "My mom gave her physical form to create me." "Uh… can gem do that?" Steven shrugged his shoulders as he gave it to Garnet "Wanna play splash wars?" "How you play it?" Steven splash at him and Tanzanite splashed at him and they keep on splashing at each other and laughing on how fun it was. Garnet popped the bubble and read the letter "Oh no." Pearl and Amethyst took a look "Tanzanite is the reincarnation of the Tanzanite Rose and I know." "What?" "Really?" "And there more to it." They looked to see what the former Tanzanite wrote.

Rose,
you were right, about changing me, about protecting the earth and finding a different path. You believe that you can heal me from being from myself but I'm afraid I cannot join you to save my fellow gems because I am beyond healing and I cannot let them find me for the information I have. I decide to reincarnate myself into a new Gem where the home world cannot find me nor silence me for the information I have. The Home world are planning to return to earth and find

Overlord E: Of course I did it because we know the truth and their plans but I hate giving out spoilers unless it involves new videogames and their release dates.
