Hello and welcome to my first ever fan fiction posted :P. Disclaimer~ I do not and I repeat (I do not) own Sword Art online(SAO) . . . but what I do own are my own OC's, if you forget flip back to chapter 1 this is technically this page but I'll post a reminder anyways. Anyways onto the story, and forgive me if it's a little wonky; I'm not good at explaining stories, especially in first person . . . I usually write in third person but anyways onward!

Chapter 01: Showtime!
It was early in the morning, maybe around 8 when I awoke from my slumber. I turned my head to my cell which was laying on the pillow beside me, picking it up I checked if I had any missed calls which there was. . .
"15 missed calls . . . from the same number"
I muttered that to myself before working up the strength to call back the number. Of course I was greeted my loud yelling on the other line; the yelling surprisingly shocked me fully awake
"Lia! Great news, the game shop is opening in 3 minutes and of course I'm first on line waiting to buy a copy of sword art online!"
Before I could reply to all his excitement he cut me off again, blabbing off about how cool the game was
"I'm buying you a copy as well so we can play side by side, so see you then!"
He hangs up the phone quickly. I lay on my bed for a moment before getting up and walk to the bathroom; I lay my phone on the shelf and stare into the mirror, I take out one of my 10 brushes and started brushing down my hair. I had long blond hair almost floor length, crystal blue eyes, tan skin and a flat chest…. I took out a yellow hairband and propped up my hair into a side ponytail before curling it, after I do what I do every morning (brush teeth, wash face, shower, etc.) I then put on a short frilly black skirt, a white tank top, and a cat sweater because it was a little cold. All of that took about an hour and by time I was done and ready to eat my friend Haruka was at the table eating ramen noodles; my mom was staring at him with an amused look then she walked up to me with my breakfast
"Go get em tiger!"
She said in such a teasing manner so I snatched the plate of food from her and sat at the table angrily. I observed what Haruka was wearing today; he had on blue shorts with a white sweater. He also has short messy black hair and green eyes. He looks up at me and smiles before removing the contents he had stored in his bag, he placed a helmet labelled Nerve Gear on the table and a game named Sword art online; he pushes it towards me and then takes out another one
"When do you want to play?"
He says in an impatient tone of voice, I told him that after we finished eat we could play so he sat there eating his noodles slowly. My mom handed him a plate that held a cheese omelet and bacon, she smiles at him before going into the other room to watch TV. It took about an hour to finish eat and wash all the dishes. Since I had two computers in my room I let him use that one; it took a while to set up the Nerve Gear because it asked us to do weird stuff…; Haruka smiles at me which made me blush a little. After registering I told Haruka to find a comfortable spot on the bed, since my bed was big enough to hold two people I was going to lay next to him. Before entering the game we told each other what username we would use; I laid on the bed and we both started up the game

I was greeted with a white screen and then an underscore appeared indicating I had to type in my username and my password. After typing it in I created my character, I gave her short pink hair with extra pale skin, blue eyes, and a D-cup size; my character had a chiseled physique. It was my lifelong dream to look this cute in real life but oh well I guess; I entered my destined username "Colada" and it told me to pick a weapon so I picked a katana which meant I was now a samurai. Finally after that long process I was greeted with the welcome screen. I went through a very short tutorial showing me how to use my katana.
[TOWN OF BEGINNINGS]
I looked around at all the players who were just logging on and the ones who were already logged on and leveling. I felt an uneasy presence behind me so I turned around quickly and pointed my katana at his face. He had silver hair and red eyes. He carried a one handed war hammer.
"Hey pretty lady, you look lost, do you need some help?"
He said that so confidently so I drew my blade closer to his left eye
"You think this is funny? Well let's see how funny it is when I cut your eye out"
The person smiles at me before pushing my katana away from his face
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you would get that angry if I said that. It's me, Haruka, remember I told you what username I was going to use"
I sheathe my katana and punched him on the shoulder
"Don't ever do that, that was so not cool Haruka. . . I mean Night"
We stood there for a moment exchanging contacts and we partied up, after he checks the clock, the time was now [10:15 am].
"Wow it's still early; well let's go level and gather some equipment and money"
He says before taking my hand and dragged me off to the field where low level boars roamed. Night lets go of my hand and draws his weapon
"Whoever levels up to 15 first wins all the col"
He smiles at me before running off. I unsheathed my katana and started killing the boars. At first it was rather difficult but the more experience I gained the easier it got. After two hours of swinging at the boars I finally managed to level up five levels; I looked around for signs of Haruka. . . I mean Night, but he was nowhere to be found. I looked over to my left and saw two guys practicing on the boars, one of them got knocked down while the other angered the boar by hitting it with a stone.
"What idiots"
I muttered to myself before walking off. I went to the other side of the field that had higher leveled mobs and started killing them for experience points. By [4:59 pm] I was level 16 and there was still no sign of Night. The sun was gradually setting inside the game and in real life but surprisingly I wasn't hungry, I pmed him and he answered right away, later he met up with me at the field where I killed most of the boars; he traded me a bunch of food and we sat on the field eating, I looked over at him and sighed
"I think we should log off for the day, it's pretty late you know"
Night lays back on the grass with his hammer next to him
"Yeah, I guess so; let's play again tomorrow okay?"
I smirked at him and nodded in agreement. We both opened our menu's to look for the logout button but it was nowhere to be found. Night looked at me, he had worried written all over his face
"Colada, did you find the log out option?"
I looked over at him before closing the menu
"No"
My response was as dead as ever. We both get up quickly in a panic, in an instant there was a loud dong sound
[THE TOWN OF BEGINNINGS BELL CHIMES]
Night started to glow blue and so was I apparently because he pointed that out to me, at the same moment we both teleported to the town of beginnings with all the other players who purchased the game. Everyone had the same scared expression as the sky was filled with words that said system announcement, everyone looks and a giant robed, faceless figure appeared. He identified himself as Akihiko Kayaba, he addressed the problem of the missing log out option. He then told us that he purposely removed it from the game as another feature of the game. Everyone as now in a panic as he continued explaining, I sighed before listening in again. He then explained that if someone tried to forcibly escape by removing the Nerve Gear; it would fry the player's brain by the transmitter which had the same functions as a microwave, it also used the internal battery as a power source. He then showed us the news of 213 players that died already, he also removed the revival system in the game so basically if our character dies we die irl.
"The only way to escape would be if you clear all 100 floors of [Aincrad]. To wrap this all up, I have left you all a gift in your inventory"
Akihiko explained in a serious voice. I checked my inventory and pulled out a mirror alongside everyone else. A blinding light changed everyone to their true selves including me which now I looked how I was in real life, I glance at Haruka who was looking around dumbfounded. I looked back up at the robed figure and he continued talking
"My goals are simple really, I wanted to create the game and intervene in it."
He finally finished and vanished. Everyone was chattering to themselves, Night approaches me and stops right next to me
"Colada do you think we will ever finish this game?"
Night asked me in such a confused tone
"Y-yes, I mean I hope we will, s-so let's go level because w-we can't just sit around doing nothing"
I tried so hard to hold in my tears because I didn't want him to worry, each time I spoke to him the more cracked my voice became. Before I could give into my emotions someone tapped me and I turned around startled. The person who tapped me was older than me; maybe in college, he had curly blond hair and purple eyes. They had a cold expression to them as he glared at me with such a blank expression
"young miss, it's okay to cry, I know you are going through a lot right now so let me escort you around, I am a beta tester you know. He leaned in close to my lips ready to kiss me; I was just about ready to punch the guy out when Night beat me to it. He uppercuts the creep; sending him flying back into the crowd, he then takes me by my hand and he drags me off to the shopping center of the town. I wiped the tears from my eyes and looked at Night
"T-thank you Nigh- "
He cuts me off by kissing me, my eyes widened and my body went into deep shock. He pulls away from me smiling
"There, now no one can steal your first kiss from me!"
He leaned in again to kiss me that's when I snapped conscious and grabbed the sheathe of my sword and slammed it over his head causing him to yelp in pain
"Don't you ever! Ever! Do that again, or I'll kill you myself!"
I yelled at him as he covered his head with his hands
"Y-yes ma`am!"
