Additional chapter

It's been about a year since we've seen the Voltori. We lived in our stone cottage all this time in the woods. 'We?' you ask? I was meaning my husband and daughter. Yes my forever 17 year old, vampire husband and 1 year old half-vampire daughter, Renesmee.

Renesmee was still growing swiftly with little signs of slowing very much. She looked at least five years old instead of one.

Renesmee usually played with Jacob, my werewolf best friend, but today Edward had taken her hunting for elk. Normally I would of came, but Alice, Edward's sister, made me stay in fear I would ruin my new blue dress she'd put me in. I feel like a Barbie doll. Ugggg.

Although, I could see her point in making me stay. I always came home from hunting trips with my clothes tattered and ripped. I still hadn't gotten the hang of hunting really yet. My wardrobe meant almost nothing to me compared to Alice. Besides, I wasn't that hungry.

I sat in silence watching the flames in the fire place flicker around, flashing shadows in different places across the small the room. I was utterly bored sitting there all alone until I heard the soft sound of feet running swiftly through the forest. A huge smile lit up me face. Edward was almost home.

I stood up fluidly, waiting for him to come in.

The door creaked open slowly, reveling him to me. His hair was filled with dozen of ice diamonds─ obviously from the snow─ and he held Renesmee's hand while her other hand one was reaching toward me. He released his grip, letting her bound over to me and jump into my out-stretched arms.

"Hello Renesmee" I cooed still unable to unlock my gaze from Edward's.

His eyes were a golden butter scotch. He smiled his expression soft.

Renesmee taped my cheek impatiently wanting my attention. I pulled my eyes unwillingly from his to look at Renesmee. She grinned, flashing rows of milk white teeth, and placed her hand on my face.

Immediately she replayed her hunting trip filling me in on all the details I'd missed. The one part she kept showing me was the animal she caught, seeming slightly smug that hers was bigger than Edward's. Nice.

I hadn't noticed Edward standing beside me until I felt his fingers weave through mine. I laughed softly laying my lightly head lightly on his chest.

"I missed you" he whispered in my ear and started playing with a strand of my chocolate brown hair.

I was instantly content.

I sat Renesmee down, who was squirming in my arms, and she trotted off into her room.

"How was you trip?" I asked.

"Fine" he paused, kissing the top of my heard. "But I wish you would have come."

I smiled up at him, happier than a kid on Christmas. "I know."

He began humming my lullaby and led me down the hall way, his fingers still curled around mine. Everything was perfect. I felt a wave of happiness flow over me as I stared up at Edward. He was mine forever. For all of eternity and longer. Renesmee, Edward, and I. The perfect family. Forever and for always.
