Chapter 1: Love's Own Beginning

Syaoran closed his eyes and rested his chin on top of Sakura's head. He hated to see her like
this. Every sob that wrenched at her heart, tore at his soul. Slowly he began to rub her
back, a small attempt at calming her down. The sleeve of his shirt was definitely
soaked, but he didn't mind. He couldn't care less. All he knew was that he cared for her,
in a way he never imagined he could. He remembered her crying just like this
before. His spirit lifted, almost soared, when he came to the realization that she
found comfort in him. The cold and heartless boy whose heart warmed at
the simplest smile Sakura gave him. Syaoran took her hands firmly, but
gently in his own. Sakura slowly looked up into those pools of amber that were
traced with worry and caring. She had to smile at his protectiveness of her. If
not for him, she would be all alone with her sadness.
"Are you okay, Sakura?" Syaoran asked worried.
"No, I'm not alright. Why would anything be okay? Nothing good ever happens to
me!" Sakura replied, trying not to start crying again. Gasping for air She closes
her eyes and leans back up against her love, her life. Syaoran.
Syaoran held onto Sakura even tighter than before and made soft soothing
words to help calm her down. He took her into his arms for what felt like
an eternity, but it was relaxing. After awhile, Sakura was able to fall
asleep in his arms feeling warm and protected. Syaoran knew he should bring
her back home but his own eyes were getting heavy, and finally he could no
longer resist staying awake. Slowly he laid down, falling asleep with Sakura
still wrapped around him. Both falling asleep in a very secluded clearing in
Penguin Park. Where only those looking for the small clearing, will you find the two
sleeping lovers.
From out of the shadows a dark figure walked. Speaking too softly for anyone
to hear, a small silvery light grew gigantic. It kept growing until it
surrounded both sleeping lovers and they soon disappeared. Not a trace of what
happened to them.
Smiling a wicked smile, the figure turned and walked away from the small
clearing. Pretending that nothing ever happened or knew anything about the
now vanished couple.

I'm evil!!! I left a cliffhanger-well sort of- hope ya'll
liked it so far.^^ That's all for this chapter. If you
want me to write and put up the next chapter, I will
have to get at least, hmmmm..... I think 10 reviews
will be enough. What do you think should happen if
I start to run out of ideas. Oh!!! for now the story
with stay at PG-13 until I have decided if I should
change it.^^ Also in reviews, flames are welcomed.
