Her eyes popped open at the horrifying sound that met her ears, waking from her

night mares into reality. the same sound that she would make and tried to forget

,but never will. She could do nothing for her younger sister Danica for she would

more then not be the next stop before he returned to her mothers bed , she

promised in a silent prayer that this would be the last time her or Danica would

suffer his abuse she would get them help. And the justice that he deserved .

Later that night

She creeped into her sisters room after the house was silent .

Danica wake up.

Are you kidding could you sleep after what he does?

I know but we cant let it happen again we're leaving tonight.

Where are we going to go we have no other family but mama?

I don't know but I cant stay here another night.

Cant we try to tell mama again I know she will listen this time?

She has made it very clear she doesn't care about what happens to us she doesn't want to loss her big house and spending account.

Okay but I don't know how we will survive

we will survive better out there then in this house.

They slowly crept to the front door careful not to wake the beast. Opening the door as

quietly as possible they made it to the front lawn. when a booming yell rattled them to the core.
Run Danica!

she grabbed her sisters hand pulling her along but she then she felt a tug,

as Danica was ripped from her grasp by her hair. His glassy blue eyed stair right into hers Did you really think you could leave? I own you!

No you don't let her go. No if I must loss one of you to prove my point I will, he took a knife out of his pocket and held it to Danica's throat no don't! but it was to late he brought the angry blade down and across her throat,.

Danica!

Her eyes burning with tears but she had no time to let them fall she had to make a run for it

she could no longer help her sister. She had to get away , she made a mad dash running with all her might her long legs carrying her swiftly down the street, hot tears streaming down her face.

Her ears burn and her hart pounding in her chest as she herd him yell

I may lose you now but where ever you go I will find you. you cant escape me. She knew he couldn't catch her she was fast. Thank god for the track team at school

but she knew that this would a short solution to a enormous problem
