Draco stood, transfixed by the wall to floor mirror in front of him, in his old bedroom at Malfoy Manor. His family had 'acquired' this particular piece in his second year at Hogwarts and as his parents knew he was a fanciful child, always wanting something, it had been decided that this would be that this would be the mirror's final resting place.

In his second year, Draco saw himself holding the golden snitch after annihilating Gryffindor. Year three saw him gazing on a reflection where the Granger mudblood was expelled after she assaulted him. Before the triwizard tournament, the mirror showed his name being drawn from the Goblet of Fire and during the tournament he inexplicably saw Potter escaping with his the reign of Umbridge he had even seen himself turning his back on everyone from Aunt Bella to the Dark Lord himself. In his last two years of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizadry, Draco Malfoy had been too afraid to look in the mirror, terrified of what it would show him becoming.

Now he stood, his hand resting lightly on the cool glass of The Mirror of Erised, and stared contentedly at what the reflection showed. Beside him stood a willowy man with scruffy brown hair that stuck out in tufts. He was wearing a shirt that hung off his thin frame that was not tucked in at the back and a maroon tie that was wonky and not tied properly. In his arms was a wriggling infant with turquoise hair and eyes that were bright and full of life. When the man smiled at Draco, he had crinkles next to his eyes.

Draco turned to his side, half expecting the apparition to disappear.

"Harry, you really do need to learn how to dress yourself properly," the Malfoy boy laughed softly. He retied his Husband's tie and straightened it gently. He wound his arms around Harry's waist and tucked in he tail of his shirt.
"There, that's much better," he murmured. He placed a gentle kiss n Harry's lips. When he pulled back he realised both men were smiling. He shook his head and laughed breathily at Harry. His arms outstretched almost automatically to receive the fidgety bundke from the brunette.
"Teddy you really are getting grumpy. I might just ask mother to sip you some firewhisky into your pumpkin juice, then maybe you'll sleep better at night."
Harry's eyes widened in horror but Draco simply winked at him.

"Ready to see your mother-in-law?" the blonde man asked, gripping Potter's hand tightly, making sure he didn't go anywhere.
"As ready as I'll ever be," the scruffy man sighed deeply, his dread clearly visible. Draco turned and kissed his husband passionately.
"Just think of home, it should help."
Harry Potter turned to the man he had married and gave him a wicked grin. He knew what home meant. His eyes flickered to the little boy in Draco's arms and he pinched his chees gently.
"Come on then Teddy, come and meet your grandmother."
Draco Malfoy smiled. Taking one last look at his reflection he led his family away, away from the mirror that showed his dreams had com true.
