The colossal god-like creature had decided to rest in a secluded area of the sylvan mountainous parts of the vast Johto Region in a dry, cavern which was clustered with stalagmites that towered high above the rocky floor. Snow relentlessly swirled in a spiral, like a column of ice and specks of snow dotted the entrance of the cave-which would have been no problem, if not for the illness of a particular pink feline who was sleeping on a hollowed out rock nearby, shivering, her body burning with fever. So the god had no choice but to stay in the cave with her. Besides, the god reasoned to itself, it usually rested for many years before waking up, and went back to sleep if there was no danger.

The cave-which was located in Mount Silver-lacked hostile Pokemon, and human visitors were rare due to the harsh conditions of the peak, as well as the powerful monsters that roamed the surrounding area. Neither it nor Mew had to fear an attack, the pokemon left them alone-mostly out of fear, it had noted earlier as it examined the numerous caves.

Plink. A drop of crystalline water spattered on the cavern floor before joining with other drops to form a tiny line of water to its final destination-a puddle. One of Mew's paws was in the way, and she twitched in annoyance, flexing her paw to show her deadly silver claws, then tucked it in under her body. A soft rumbling noise could be heard as she drifted into a deeper slumber. The pokemon decided to sit down, tucking its own legs under its body carefully, lacking the ability to lay on its side because of the golden object around its belly.

Its crimson gaze rested on the sleeping form of the cat Pokemon, and its eyes slid shut slowly, the sound of the dripping water was like a lullaby to it. It shifted its body in a feeble attempt to become more comfortable on the dust ground, and for a moment its eyes opened to examined it white, dust coated fur. Its pelt had been turned a light gray by the dust. Finally its gaze drifted to the limestone walls of the cave, into the shadows, searching for a hiding foe, but it found nothing. It sighed.

The snow filled winds had died down to a gale, it noticed as its head lowered, and its eyes shut. A shuffling noise alerted the pokemon briefly, then it remembered its companion; its confidant. A paw delicately brushed by its face; its eyes opened.

Two azure spheres glowed in the darkness, begging. The bipedal feline held herself up in her arms and was staring at it through the shadows. Her head was drooping a bit, her eyes were glazed by fever, but she poked its leg with surprising strength. Mew purred sweetly. It growled, closing its eyes.

Poke.

Its dark red eyes opened again, and a growl rumbled in its throat, louder than the last. The small cat shivered in fear for a moment, her eyes widening as she stared at it.

Poke.

It did nothing. Mew's paw rose again, slower now that she was becoming tired.

Poke.

It nodded. A small smile appeared on the cat's muzzle, and she flew on top on its head, licking its face gently.

The small cat curled up into a disc shape on its head, a purr rumbling in her throat.

Hours had passed. The god like Pokemon had finally decided to just stayed awake for a long time, watching the water slowly drip from the roof and into the tiny stream that snaked around boulders. It twitched slightly when the pink feline on its head rolled over, and poke its head, yawning quietly.

Its fur was illuminated to a golden hue, glowing in the sunlight, and its crimson eyes stared at the snow piled at the entrance, about as high as a small human. It blinked slowly, adjusting itself so that it now faced the cave's entrance.

It stared at the shimmering sunset, and it closed its eyes.
